In order to have a better continuation of the children's drama talent team, the Central Academy of Drama went to Hunan, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Hebei and other places to carefully select good seedlings. The Chinese opera conducted the most rigorous selection in history, in addition to the sound, stage, line, and table necessary for the art examination, they also had to examine the family composition and touch the bones. This is the first class of children's drama actors jointly trained by the China Children's Art Theater and the Central Academy of Drama, which has opened up a new road for the training of Chinese children's theater actors.
At that time, it was one out of tens of thousands of people, and students lined up in long lines to take the exam. 26 students were carefully selected. The oldest of them is 17 years old and the youngest is 11 years old. The school has more than 30 teachers for them, as well as special life teachers.
