In "Journey to the West", there is a strange phenomenon: the monsters have spent a lot of effort to capture Tang Monk every time, there is no interference from the three disciples around them, the pot is also set up, the soup has been boiled, and they almost cooked Tang Monk for a big meal, but each time it is in the last step, they are tripped up in the process, and they can't eat Tang Monk meat for a long time.
Why is it always so coincidental? In fact, Tang Monk hid helpers in his hat and secretly protected Tang Monk.
In the original text, the hat of the Tang monk is mentioned more than once. This hat is called the "Pilu Hat".
In the eleventh episode of the original work, "Tang Taizong of Youdi Province Returns the Soul into guaguo Liu Quan continuation", "Pilu Hat" appears for the first time. After Tang Taizong was still alive, he invited the Buddhas to elect a person with great virtue as the altar master and set up a dojo. In the end, the Tang monks were selected.
After Emperor Taizong of Tang gave the Tang monks the left monk and the right monk, he "gave a multicolored gold robe and a Pilu hat."
In the twelfth time in the original work, "Tang Wang Bingcheng Cultivation Assembly Guanyin Manifestation Sanctification Golden Cicada", there is such a description of the portrait of Tang Monk:
"Master Xuanzang has a great fortune, and now this thing can bear it." Like Elysium Aro, he has raced through the Western True Awakening Show. Tin staff dings the nine rings of the bucket, and the Pilu hat reflects how rich it is. Sincerity is not false for the Buddha, and it is better than Bodhi without deception. "
Since it has been mentioned many times, this "Pilu hat" must be very important. In fact, this Pilu hat contained helpers to protect the Tang monks. They are the Six Dings and Six Sects, the Five Noble Truths, the Four Values of Gong Cao, and the Eighteen Apologetics Garan. They hid in tang monks' hats and silently protected Tang monks all the way.
In the fifteenth episode of the original book, "The Gods of the Snake Pan Mountain Secretly Bless the Eagle Sorrowful Horse Reins", the Six Dings and Six Jia, the Five Fang Revelations, the Four Values Gong Cao, and the Eighteen Apologetics Garan appear for the first time. Tang Monk and Sun Wukong walked to Snake Pan Mountain, and a white light flashed, and Tang Monk's white horse was eaten.
Sun Wukong wanted to go to this monster to seek justice, but he couldn't rest assured that he wanted to leave Tang Monk alone. In the midst of distress, he only heard the words of someone in the air, shouting: "Sun Dasheng mo is annoyed, Tang Royal Brother Hugh is crying." I am a deity sent by Guanyin Bodhisattva to secretly protect the scriptures. "The people who spoke in the air were the Six Dings and Six Sects, the Five Revelations, the Four Values of Gong Cao, and the Eighteen Apologetics Garan.
These people secretly helped, each taking turns to wait on duty. When the Tang monks and disciples need it, they will show up to help. Because of this, Sun Wukong was relieved to leave Tang Monk alone to capture the monster.
Of course, it was these people who secretly helped each other, and every time Tang Monk was caught by the demon, he would not lose his life. Not only could they take care of Tang Monk when Tang Monk was left alone, but they could also give advice to Sun Wukong and others so that they could rescue Tang Monk as soon as possible.
The Six Dings and Six Jia, the Five Fang Revelations, the Four Values Gong Cao, and the Eighteen Apologetics Garan hid in the hats of the Tang monks and followed the Tang monks and others all the way.
On the surface, it is to protect the safety of Tang Monk. But in fact, they also had a hidden motive, that is, to monitor whether several Tang monks and disciples had completed the task of collecting sutras according to the requirements of the Buddha. The every move of several Tang monks and disciples on the way to learn the scriptures could not escape the eyes of these people.
When the Tang monks and disciples arrived in the Western Heavens, the Six Dings and Six Truths, the Five Revelations, the Four Values gong cao, and the apologetic Garan came to Guanyin Bodhisattva to report their duties. Guanyin Bodhisattva asked the Tang monks what their hearts were doing along the way, and they truthfully reported to Guanyin the performance of The Tang monks and others on the way to learn the scriptures.
Learning the scriptures is a big deal, and there can be no mistakes. In order to allow the Tang monks to successfully obtain the true scriptures, the Buddha also took a lot of painstaking efforts. Fortunately, in the end, all merit is fulfilled.
