Yanagishita Kei is a scholar, three deposed. Man knows: "The son can not go?" "Straight and straight, straight and not three?" Why go to the land of parents? ”
Yanagi shimohito served as the official in charge of the judicial prison (Lu Guo) and was dismissed several times. Officials such as scholars advised him: "You can't leave (Lu Guo, what about another high-ranking person?"). Yanagishita said, "Where will I not be dismissed many times as a straight man?" If you do not serve the monarch according to the right path, why do you have to leave your country? ”
The sentence begins with "Yanagishita Kei as a scholar, three deposed." We see that this sentence does not have "Zi Yue" or "Confucius Yue", but the meaning expressed from this sentence should be the content of Confucius's lectures in the Lecture Hall of Traditional Chinese Studies, recorded by students, and later assembled when compiling the Analects.
There are still relatively few such records in the Analects.
Let's look at the phrase "Yanagishita Kei is a scholar, three deposed".
Yanagi appears three times in the Analects, once in the Analects of Wei Ling, "Zang Wenzhong and his thief and the thief! Kei no Ken Yukiyo Yuki and not Tachibana. (Zang Wenzhong was probably an incompetent person who stole his official position!) He knew Yanagishita Keihide, but could not recommend him and stand with him in the dynasty. The Analects of the Analects of the Minor Sons records two passages: "Yanagishita Hui was a scholar and three deposed." "The other place is; Yimin: Bo Yi, Shu Qi, Yu Zhong, Yi Yi, Zhu Zhang, Liu Xia Hui, Shao Lian...
Liu Xia Hui, surname Zhan, name win, character bird, Spring and Autumn Period Lu people, "Liu Xia" is his food. He served as an official such as Lu Guoshishi, and later became a "Yimin", and his story of "sitting still and not chaotic" was widely praised. Liu Xiang of the Western Han Dynasty recorded in the "Biography of the Daughters of The Lie, Liu Xia Hui's Wife", "Liu Xia Hui was in Lu, three deposed but did not go, worried about the people to save the chaos." Zhan Fowl has a heart that worries about the country and the people and the world, and he is not willing to give up his hometown, but still hopes to do his best to serve the people in his own country. After his death, his wife used "Hui" as his nickname, what is "Hui"? Yi Zhou Shu (Yi Zhou Shu) "Gentle and kind people know their nature; love the people well and know hui, and give alms." According to the provisions of the Law of The Emperor, the Sons of Heaven of the Zhou Dynasty, the princes of various countries, the Qing Masters, and their wives were qualified to obtain the "Title of Emperor"; the Han Dynasty stipulated that only those who had been enfeoffed with the title of Marquis before their death were eligible to obtain the title of "Title of Emperor"; and officials of the Tang Dynasty with two or more grades of the Second Grade were qualified to obtain the title of "Title". In this way, Yanagi's nickname is "private", not given by the imperial court, but by relatives, friends, and disciples.
During the Spring and Autumn Period, the "Scholar" was an official in charge of judicial prisons. Lu Guo's shishi was not yet Zhou Tianzi's shishi, and this official did not look big.
Let's explain the "three deposed". "Three" means "repeated many times". Not three times. "Deposed" is a morphophonemic word, which originally means darkness. The explanation given by the Shuowen is: "Demotion or removal, demotion also." "The Three Deposed" have been degraded many times. We see, this Comrade Yanagishita Hui's career is not smooth, ah, he has been dismissed many times.
"Yanagishi Xia Hui as a scholar" means that Liu Xia Hui was once an official in charge of the judicial prison in the State of Lu. When some people interpret this "Analects", they like to add that Yanagishita Hui was deposed without guilt, which is also understandable, but according to the original meaning of "deposed", it is still more comfortable to understand that she has been degraded.
We then looked, and the man said, "Can the Son not go?" ”
In ancient times, the meaning of "person" was distinguished between broad and narrow meanings. "People" in the broad sense refers to all groups of people; "people" in the narrow sense refers only to people from all walks of life above the level of scholars. I think that the concept of "people" here is better understood as corresponding to "people", because Yanagisha Hui's "three deposed" were said at that time; there were no means of communication, the means of propaganda were limited, and some grassroots people may not necessarily know about this matter; and then one does not necessarily understand Yanagi's talent so clearly. And the person who spoke, one is aware of Yanagishita Hui's "three deposes", and the other is that he still has a certain understanding of Yanagishita's talents. Therefore, it is better to explain people like scholars and doctors.
"Can the son go?" An official advised him: "Can't you leave the country of Lu and seek another high position?" "What this person means, since you have talent, but being an official here is "three deposed", you can leave here, you can completely rely on your talent to become an official. Listening to this person's words, will Yanagishita go or stay? At this time, my ear suddenly remembered a song by singer Zhou Huajian: "In fact, I want to go, in fact, I want to stay, stay and accompany you through every spring, summer, autumn and winter." "Has Yanagishita left her hometown?" Let's share.
"Straight and straight, straight and not three?" Why go to the land of parents? ”
Who "knows" ah, here omitted the theme "Yanagishita Hui". From this sentence, I seem to see a real Yanagishita Hui, who "does not like things, does not grieve with himself", can face personal gains and losses with a peaceful mentality, and does not like what he gains and does not worry about, which can be described as spoiled and not shocked, and he is really worthy of being a "yimin".
"Straight", "Speaking": "Straight, right view also". The original meaning of "straight" is not bent, as opposed to "bending" and "bending". "Straight" appears 16 times in the Analects, and the Confucian "straight" is not only a basic requirement for personal morality, but also reflects the meaning of "being able to make the wrongdoer straight". There are four realms of "straightness" in the Analects: one is uprightness, the second is wisdom and straightness, the third is courage and straightness, and the fourth is benevolence. The Analects of Yongye records that Zi Yue said: "The birth of a man is also straight, and the birth of a reckless person is also spared." "Straightness here is integrity. (Confucius said, "Man survives because of integrity, and those who are not upright also survive because they have avoided calamities by chance.") That's what a person needs integrity. The Analects of Wei Ling gong records that Zi Yue: "Zhi Ya Shi Yu! The state has a way like a arrow; the state has no way like a arrow. Gentleman! The state has a way; the state has no way to roll it up. (Confucius said, "Shi Yu is upright!") When the country's politics are clear, his words and deeds are as straight as arrows; when the country's politics is dark, his words and deeds are as straight as arrows. Yu Boyu is a gentleman! When the country's politics are clear, they come out to become officials; when the country's politics is dark, they do not collude with each other, but collect their own skills. At a glance, we can understand that the "straightness" of the Weiguo Doctor Shi Yu is "courageous and straight", and the "straightness" of another doctor, Shu Boyu, is Zhizhi. And the Yanagishita Hui in this chapter sentence "Analects" is Ren Zhi. Why, let's share.
"Straight" is the opposite of "wrong way". To be unjust is to bend, to be wrong, and by extension to behave in an unrighteous manner. "Wrongdoing" means that a person does not adhere to principles and does not do things in accordance with the way, in our current parlance, that is, the person does not follow the right path.
The "state of parents" is the country where the parents live, which refers to the motherland.
Yanagishita said, "I will be deposed many times wherever I go, but if I do not serve the monarch according to the right path, why do I have to leave my country?" "From Yanagishita's words, we feel the charm of a language, the meaning is symmetrical, the language is fluent, and it is catchy to read.
"Straight and straight, straight and not three?" "People live in this world, there are "straight roads" and "wrong roads", what kind of path do you choose? This is determined by one's own heart.
The "straight way" of "straight way and doing things" is the way of integrity. A person who is upright and impartial is "straight", that is, adhering to the principle of working.
Yanagishita's "straight path and people" means to act according to etiquette and rules, which is Yanagishita's virtue. Because he is upright and has a heart to do the work within his ability for the people of the "parents' country", he is like this whether the people in power appreciate it or not, because he has the people of the Lu country in his heart, if he does not adhere to the straight path, how can he make contributions to the people of the parents' country?
Let's look at "doing things in vain." "The wrong way is the evil way, not the right way!"
At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the ceremony collapsed, and if a person used the "straight way" to serve the people in power, you would be "deposed" in any country you went to. In other words, those in power do not like people who are upright and moral. If we abandon the "straight way", if we do not have a straight heart, and if we act in a "wrong way" to do things, to put it bluntly, we are going to flatter and flatter those in power, and if we do this, we will not be deposed in the country of Lu, and the same is true in other countries!
We know Confucius, who did things in accordance with the middle way, and the Analects of zihan recorded that the son said: "Ma Crown, Li Ye." Now I am pure, thrifty, and I follow the crowd. Bow down, salute also. Worship on this day, Taiya. Though I have violated the multitude, I shall go down. (Confucius said, "According to the ritual law, you should wear a hat made of linen when performing a sacrifice.") But nowadays everyone wears a top hat made of black silk, because it is more frugal. At this point, I follow the crowd; the king of Jin sees that the monarch must first bow down in the church, which is the requirement of the ancient rites, and now everyone has abandoned the ceremony of worship in the hall, and it is finished to go directly to the church to bow down, which is a proud and slow act. Even against the will of the people, I insisted on kneeling down in the church first. It is not that Yanagishita does not know how to be flexible, but he does not like to act against his heart and go against the way, and he still adheres to the principle of doing things by himself. No matter where we are, we will never take the crooked road but take the right path, and this practice is naturally impossible to be tolerated by the evil forces. In fact, Yanagishita's character is here.
When confucius disciples compiled the Analects, they did not record Confucius's attitude toward this matter, and they did not express their position. But from the font line, we can see Kong Men's recognition of Yanagishita Hui.
Here, I praise Yanagishita Hui because he firmly believes, insists on the "straight way", and no matter how he is deposed, his heart of worrying about the country and the people will not change. I firmly believe that in modern China, the more Liu Xiahui-style characters, our society will enter the Datong society one day earlier!
