They come from Australia's richest family, but little is known. Their parents were regulars in the media spotlight, but they chose to live incognito and low-key.
Some of them are just reaping the benefits of fishermen, some have just joined the operation of family businesses, and some have already held great power and vowed to defend the country laid down by their ancestors.
Australian Financial Insights (afn) today takes you into the low-key life of Australia's invisible rich family and its heirs.

1
Gladelle Parker ---- a wealth of media
As the gold of Australia's former richest man, Kerry Packer, Gretel Packer is much more low-key than her brother James Packer. She is so reclusive that even australia's largest media companies rarely find news about her.
Of course, it is also very likely that her father was once the number one person in the Australian media scene. The media empire that Parker Sr. has built throughout his life ---- the impact that The Australian publishing and broadcasting ltd. and its subsidiaries, the Australian Consolidated Press and nine networks, have had on Australia over the past 100 years has been immeasurable.
Since Parker's death in 2005, Gladell has separated from her younger brother James. Although the exact number is not verifiable, it is clear that the younger brother inherited the vast majority of the family property. However, James does not seem to have inherited the shrewd genes of the media family, and the nearly $7 billion assets he inherited from his father have now shrunk by more than half (click to read: The unspeakable secret of the second generation of the giants, the rise and fall of the Australian "gambling king" family).
Unlike her brother, Gladell, who had two failed marriages, devoted herself mainly to philanthropy. She is currently the president of the Packer Family Foundation, which also manages the $200 million National Philanthropist Fund.
It has also been rumored that the two brothers and sisters have been fighting for more than a decade because of the uneven separation of the family, and it was not until 2018 that an agreement was reached.
2
Fiona and Eloise Pratt ---- a family of paper tycoons
Former Australia's fourth-richest man, Richard Pratt, is a descendant of Visy Industries. Since its founding in 1948, the company has become one of the world's largest multinational private paper, packaging and recycling companies. Visy employs 9,500 people in the U.S. and Australia, and its total sales also exceed $5 billion.
After Richard's death in 2009, the VISY Group was taken over by his eldest son, Anthony Pratt. But in fact, Anthony's two sisters, ---- Fiona and Heloise Pratt, each own a third of the group.
The two sisters were also strategic, marrying Raphael Geminder and Alex Waislitz, respectively. The former is the majority shareholder of Pact Group, Australia's largest plastic packaging company, which has performed well since its listing for $1.7 billion in 2014, earning $60 million that year. The latter is the owner of Australia's S&P listed investment firm Thornney Opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that visy group was exposed in 2012 to have close ties with the multinational gang hells angels.
The police report pointed out that the VISY Group repeatedly used the gang network to carry out violent dunning and other acts, and still provided personality guarantees for one of the drug dealers despite solid evidence.
3
The Gang of Five ---- the heirs of logistics giants
The Linfox giant trucks that can be founded everywhere in Australia belong to the Fox logistics giant founded by Lindsay Fox. The company's English name is made up of Mr. Fox's first and last names.
Founded in 1956 by Lindsay Fox, the logistics business from a truck has become today the largest logistics giant in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to the general logistics business, the company also has transnational businesses such as cash transportation services and real estate investment.
Linfox employs 23,000 people in Australia alone, has more than 3.2 million square metres of factory and more than 5,000 trucks worldwide.
The $2.12 billion Fox family has now placed the company's management and management in the hands of Lindsay's five children.
The eldest son, Peter, is executive chairman, David is in charge of the airport and money delivery business (the company holds a stake in Melbourne's Ephron and Eisenden airports), Andrew is responsible for property investment, and sisters Lisa and Katrina are responsible for back-office operations such as marketing.
The Five Fox siblings have a total of 14 children, but are too young to participate in the operation of the family business.
4
The Semadian ---- family hedge fund pioneer
David Hains, 88, is a self-made local Australian entrepreneur.
A graduate of the University of Melbourne, David worked as an engineer and corporate restructuring consultant in his early years, and was once ranked in the top 10 of Australia's richest list (assets of $2.9 billion).
The Portland House Group, owned by the Hain's family, is now run by three eldest sons. The group employs 85 people in Collins Street, London and Melbourne, and its primary function is to provide financial hedge fund services to the Haynes family.
David has a wide range of interests and once worked willfully for 7 years as a hand-off treasurer because of his love of golf. The Haynes family also owns a racecourse in northern Victoria.
Kingston Rule, a good colt trained by David, won the Melbourne Horse Racing Festival in 1990. Another, kingston town, is a three-time defending champion of the Moonee Valley Cox Plate.

Born in Dalian, the former richest man in Macao, ---- Trigupov family
Born in China in 1933, Harry Triguboff is a Jewish-Russian whose parents fled to Dalian, China, during lenin's Revolution, where he gave birth to the future richest man in Australia.
Harry spent his childhood in a Jewish gathering place in Tianjin and did not come to Australia with his family until 1947. Upon arrival, he attended Scotts College, the most expensive school for noble boys in australia, and then flew to Leeds, England, to complete his university studies.
Harry's career has not been smooth sailing, and he has worked in various jobs since graduating---- working in the floor tile business in Israel and South Africa, running a taxi company in Australia, and dabbling in milk logistics, property sales, university lecturer assistants and other industries. All ended in failure. It wasn't until he bought a piece of land in Roseville to build a house for himself that he got into the right direction.
Harry, who was new to the sweet spot, went on to buy land, this time trying to develop 8 apartments, and after making a profit, he expanded to develop 18 apartments in the nearby meriton street, making a lot of money. It was also because of the success of the Merriton project that Harry named his company meriton apartments ltd.
According to Australia's Richest List, Harry Trigupov's personal wealth in 2017 has reached $11.4 billion, ranking second only to Anthony of Visy Industries ($12.6 billion).
Harry currently has only two daughters at his knees, and the two have no intention of taking over the family business. So Harry was trying to nurture and find a suitable successor among his four grandchildren.
It is worth mentioning that Trigupov, who attended an expensive aristocratic school in his early years, was labeled "self-made" on the Forbes list. And this "grassroots" entrepreneur can still spend a lot of money to buy land development and purchase houses after his career is blocked everywhere.

The number one in the mall ---- the Roy family
Frank Lowy, the founder of Australia's Westfield Corporation shopping mall, is of jewish descent as well as Australia's former richest man, Trigupov. He was born in the Slovak Republic and fled to Hungary after the outbreak of World War II. In 1946, he boarded the ship Yagur and was captured by the British authorities as he prepared to travel to Palestine and imprisoned in a concentration camp in Cyprus. He later joined the Gorani Army and fought in the Third Middle East War.
After the war, Frank defected to his family who had emigrated to Australia and soon transitioned from a small family logistics business into the real estate industry. In 1953, Frank and another immigrant, John Saunders, began working together and set up the first shopping centre in Blacktown, west of Sydney. Over the next 30 years, their business expanded rapidly across the United States and Australia, and Westfield was officially listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:wfd) in the 1960s.
Although The Westfield Group has now been acquired by European property giant Unibail-rodamco for $32.8 billion, the Roy family's assets are still far ahead of many of Australia's wealth richest people. According to the Australian Financial Times's 2017 national rich list, the total assets of the Roy family are 8.3 billion Australian dollars, ranking fourth.
Of Frank's three sons, Peter and Steven co-manage the Westfield Group, while the youngest son, David, is responsible for investment management.
end
No matter which family or which industry, if you want to create a lot of wealth, you can't do without time, place, people. Of course, as the saying goes, "It is easy to fight the country, but it is difficult to defend the country", as for whether the younger generations can keep these huge wealth, we will wait and see.
