(Observer News) Comprehensive Hong Kong Wenhui Network, "East Net" September 1 news, "October 20, 2019 Kowloon illegal assembly and march case" of the seven defendants, today (1st) morning in the District Court sentenced to 11 to 16 months imprisonment.

According to reports, the seven defendants sentenced included Chen Haohuan, Leung Kwok Hung, Ho Siu Lan, Yang Sen, Ho Jun Yan, Wu Wenyuan and Huang Haoming. During the 2019 "Amendment Storm", some people held an illegal march in kowloon district on October 20. Afterwards, the seven were charged with organizing and inciting others to participate in the unauthorized assembly, and pleaded guilty in August this year.
Today, the seven defendants were sentenced to 11 to 16 months in prison by Judge Hu Yawen in the District Court. In addition to Ho Chun Yan, the remaining 6 defendants pleaded guilty to organizing an unauthorized assembly. In addition, Chan Haohuan, Leung Kwok Hung, Ho Siu Lan and Ho Chun Yan also pleaded guilty to inciting others to knowingly participate in an unauthorized assembly.
Chen Haohuan, Leung Kwok Hung and Ho Siu-lan, who pleaded guilty to the two crimes, were sentenced to 16 months, 16 months and 14 months in prison respectively, with the three persons, together with the earlier cases involved in the illegal assembly, for a total of 18 months, 22 months and 14 months; Yang Sen, Ho Chun Yan, Wu Wenyuan and Huang Haoming, who pleaded guilty, were sentenced to 11 months, 16 months, 12 months and 14 months in prison respectively, of which Yang Sen, He Xiulan and Wu Wenyuan, together with the earlier cases, were sentenced to imprisonment for a total of 14 months, 18 months and 14 months.
