The reason why I chose this "Elite Force" was completely fanned by the second "Elite Force 2: Enemy Current". The online rating of the series is high, saying that the movie is not a movie at all, it is a reality that happens every day somewhere on the planet, such a reality, so that any outsider's comments lose weight.
Rather than the second installment in the series, which is more about the unknown side of politicians in terms of politics, the first part is more about the showdown between the special forces bope and the drug lord, and about the thrill of the bope fighting violence with violence in eliminating drug dealers. In this movie, there is a rule that is displayed in front of the audience all the time: if you commit a crime, then I can suppress it with violence, after all, you commit the crime first.

Set in Rio de Janeiro in 1997, Elite Force is about 700 slums in Rio de Janeiro, almost all controlled by drug traffickers armed to the teeth. Here, unlike the rest of the world, weapons are used for war, but for crime. So in such a dark country, no one would believe that the police would rush into the slums to enforce the law.
Against this backdrop, the special forces bope became the last enforcer of the slums. They use violence to enforce the law, and it is clear that violence is not the best way to solve the problem, but it is the best way to deal with drug lords. Therefore, in the movie, there will be constantly drug dealers who use plastic bags to suffocate and suffocate confessions, and the behavior of punching, kicking and slapping drug dealers at every turn. This method of law enforcement deters ghetto offenders and makes people shudder about the high cost of crime.
The professional experience of the special forces Andre in the film, the hesitation of the initial career choice between the police and the lawyer, and the final choice of the police, which was despised in Brazil, fully showed the helplessness of Brazilian society at that time.
So how did Andre view the profession of policeman and eventually give up the opportunity to become a lawyer and eventually become a member of the special forces bope?
In Special Forces, Andrea is a hard-working, intelligent black man who, like many cities around the world, has few opportunities for black people in Brazil. But In a society full of prejudices, Andre still entered the best law school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. So after receiving higher education, in Andrei's view, studying law and becoming a police officer have a lot in common, and they all have the same mission - to protect social justice.
So in law school, students discussed the police, arguing that criminal law, in cooperation with the police, created a country that protected the rich and punished almost only the poor; the police were rude to the poor, to those who were forced to commit crimes because of embarrassment; and the police were not only corrupt, but also a bunch of cowards.
In this regard, Andrei countered the views of his classmates through his hidden "police" identity, believing that the students only knew how to sit in the classroom and talk about the police, and that the perception of the police was only to obtain information from the newspaper and the media, which was too shallow, and firmly believed that the students were just misled by the media. He believed that corruption existed in the police, but most of the police were upright.
But after Andre became an alternate policeman, he discovered that the person who had a shallow understanding of the police was himself, and the opinions of his classmates who were ridiculed by him and only knew that they were "staying in your elegant apartment facing south" turned out to be correct.
In "Special Forces", after becoming an alternate police officer, Andre is assigned to sort out the case records in the police department archives, and his friend Nattu is sent to repair the car. Here, he found that the police could shirk their responsibilities from each other, throwing bodies found in the precinct to another; they would go to the slum every Friday to collect protection fees in exchange for turning a blind eye to the drug trade in the slum; they would suppress colleagues inside the police station, and even the simplest vacation required bribes.
Andre and Netu were forced to resist, disrupting the normal bribery channels between the police and the merchants by "collecting protection fees in advance", and it was planned that in this way, the police and the merchants would eventually be suspicious of each other, thus completely cracking down on the police dereliction of duty. But their plan ultimately failed, after which Andre was sent to the police station's canteen, while Nettu was imprisoned in the garage.
In order to escape the oppression of the police system, Andre and Nettu chose to participate in the training of the special forces bope in the police. Because in Rio de Janeiro, bope is the embodiment of justice, they are impersonal, violent law enforcement, they are the real guardians of the slums.
However, although he successfully chose the bope, he became a member of the bope. But at this time, Andrea's dream of being a lawyer had not been completely extinguished. It was not until the day of the interview for a lawyer that he asked Netu to help him go to the slum to send a pair of glasses to the children of the public welfare organization, and finally Netu was shot dead by the drug lord in the slum, and Andre's dream of being a lawyer was completely destroyed.
At this point, Andre gave up the opportunity to become a lawyer completely, he finally transformed into a qualified special forces member, and together with the bope members, went all out to hunt down the drug dealer in the slums, and finally in the drug dealer's plea "Don't punch in the face, you will ruin my funeral", Andre picked up the shotgun.
In this regard, Andre completed his career turn.
For Andre's eventual choice to become a special force in the police, can only lament that Andre has too many social marks on his body, although the ideal is very good, but in the Rio de Janeiro form at that time, bope was his best choice.
But as Andre originally envisioned, studying the law and becoming a police officer have a lot in common, and they all share the same mission – to protect social justice. So even if he can't become a lawyer, as a policeman, he also protects social justice in his own way.
