The poem "Think of relatives every festive season" is more reminiscent of the Mid-Autumn Festival, because the Mid-Autumn Festival is a reunion festival for Chinese. My son and I talked about the previous Mid-Autumn Festival, and he thought it was so interesting. It was the Mid-Autumn Festival in old Kunming, and the festival that my family attached most importance to in the West Lane of the Temple of Literature was the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Beforehand, my grandmother, who was sitting on a wicker chair halfway through, was in Zhang Luo early. At that time, the material supply was still very tight, and it was still supplied by ticket, Ji Qingxiang's ham mooncake, big white cake, buckwheat cake, date paste, hemp seed, Guanshengyuan's heavy oil wheat skewers, four or two lumps, Gui Meixuan's rock sugar buckwheat cake, wuren cake, almost all went to buy in advance, especially the ham mooncake, big white cake, big buckwheat cake, four two lumps.
We look forward to the Mid-Autumn Festival, that is, looking forward to eating moon cakes and dividing moon cakes. After the festival, everyone hid the mooncake that grandma had given her hand. My two uncles (fifth uncle, sixth uncle) are all third-term rural intellectuals, in the "outer five counties" Dehong Yingjiang team, the two are in the same production team.
Grandma was most worried about them, and asked my brother to go to the post and telecommunications office early to send them mooncakes. Later, when the two uncles talked about this matter, they still remembered that the mooncakes they sent were not received until the Mid-Autumn Festival, and many of them were broken, and some of them were moldy and could not be eaten.
On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival of that year, we received a letter from the sixth uncle, saying that the Yingjiang River was flooded, and they were all in the rescue and disaster relief, and the fifth uncle was dispatched out to rescue and rescue the disaster with the brigade. My mother and the second widow read the letter in the hall, looked at it, and pointed to it, meaning not to read this passage to my grandmother.
After dinner, the chestnuts, edamame, and bun grain were all cooked, and the whole family began to celebrate the festival. In addition to the ham mooncakes and heavy oil buckwheat cakes that made my mouth hungry, my eyes were always fixed on the fried chestnuts bought by the second uncle.
One or two of us ate like some "starving ghosts". My mother seemed to have something on her mind, seeing that she didn't move her mouth much, but just handed us food.
I vaguely heard my mother and my second and fourth widows say that they had not received a letter from my father in the past two days. Looking at her worried look, my brother and my sister did not dare to squeak, bowed their heads, and quietly ate. At that time, I had just entered high school, my sister was in elementary school, and only the eldest brother who was already working could read my mother's heart, but I did not fully understand it.
The mother's concern for her father is very delicate, all in her heart, especially when she celebrates this reunion festival, her mother shows that feeling of missing...
I don't know much about things, and I may also be very reluctant to eat these delicious foods, keep eating, and eat bloated stomachs. Now speaking of sons, they can't understand. At that time, the Mid-Autumn Festival was the "Festival of Supporting Wounds", and now it is said that "full of food and support" is a pejorative meaning, and that era really ate a lot of people.
Classmates will also compete with each other, some take out a whole ham mooncake to show off, when the class is over, they are forced by those naughty eggs to hand over the mooncake, and those who do not give it are beaten to a blue nose and swollen face.
Later, our family of five spent the Mid-Autumn Festival together after 6 years, my father returned to China from the old municipal party committee and transferred to the provincial party committee, our family gathered at the home of the fifth courtyard of the provincial party committee, which was also the first time that our family of five had a reunion dinner together after 20 years. My mother made rice noodles for us, and after the festival, everyone still shared a mooncake. Later, the Big Family in West Lane spent the Mid-Autumn Festival together, and it was already four generations in the same house, and everyone in the big family said and laughed.
The 2018 Mid-Autumn Festival is coming. On this day, the fifth uncle (Note: the intellectual youth activists of that year, the workers' and peasants' and soldiers' college students, and now the university professors) we summoned the villagers of the West Lane family to their bookish home to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival in the West Lane Group. The Big Family in West Lane is about to be reunited again, and my daughter-in-law, son and daughter-in-law are extremely excited...
