For example, in order to write Ma Junwu, the drafter of the charter of the League, I found Shanghai from Beijing and finally his niece Ma Guifen in Guangxi; I wrote Weng Wenhao, and I went from Beijing to his niece and granddaughter to find his youngest son Weng Xinjun in Shanghai; I wrote Ye Gongchao, in order to verify that he was imprisoned for Mao Gongding, I found Gu Yuxuan, a witness in the United States and then vice minister of education; and found the descendants of Zhang Yuanji, Zhao Yuanren, Su Xuelin, Chen Xiying, Cheng Shemei, Li Ji, Pan Guangdan, and Liu Wendian to review the manuscripts. After receiving their approval, we dared to invest, so I had a good time working with the heir or his relatives.
Only the dissenters to my manuscript, Mr. Nie Hualing, are also. When I sat and waited for the "coins", I was bored, so I combed through the manuscripts that had been approved by the sages and teachers in the cabinet, bound them into four thick volumes, and hid them in the basket. This is the middle of autumn, a good day for people. I opened it and looked at it, and it was full of eyes. The hands of a hundred teachers and friends were scattered in the sky and the earth of the Qianye manuscript, some of the paper had been yellowed and brittle, some of the handwriting had faded or sprung, but it was still pleasing to the eye, and the ink was fragrant; gently caressed, as if there was their hand warmth; read it carefully, you can see their voice and smile.
The words I have inked in today's dance are all grown up under the care of my former teachers and friends. In this rich and vast pastoral of words, I am a gleaner who is like a spring breeze. From the lines of their annotations or embellishments, we can see their true disposition: either open-minded, straightforward or humble, or rigorous or humorous. Yang Xianyi
When I wrote "Celebrity Flow, Not Only Poetry and Wine - Yang Xianyi's Hundred Years of Flowing Water", Mr. Yang Xianyi was 93 years old, it was inconvenient to read the manuscript, let his niece Zhao Yu read it to him word by word, and when he needed to change it, he stopped.
One section of the text writes that on the eve of the Kuomintang's withdrawal from Taiwan in 1949, Yang's superior, Hang Liwu, advised Yang to follow him to Taiwan, but Yang declined. Yang Xianyi heard Zhao Yun read this and stopped, and told Zhao Yu that he could not remember this matter clearly, and suggested deleting it. I quote this in quotation marks, and although I have found the source, checked the original text correctly, and deleted it in order to respect the opinion of the Master. Liang Wenqian, the daughter of Mr. Liang Shiqiu also. I have compiled four volumes of prose for Mr. Shiqiu, and at one time I was very close to Wen Qian, and I listened to her tell her father's story many times. She said that her father's biggest feature was that it was delicious, and his more than a hundred essays on eating were all "eaten". Of course, it also talks about Mr. Liang and Lu Xun. In 2005, I wrote a passage "Liang Wenqian on Her Father Liang Shiqiu", and at the end of the article, there is a paragraph dedicated to Liang Shiqiu's views on Lu Xun. Judging from the revised draft returned by Wen Qian, she originally agreed and moved around in this paragraph; later, not knowing what she thought, she forked this paragraph with an ink pen. I think this paragraph is really interesting, and there seems to be nothing inappropriate, and I dare to add it here:

Elder Shi verified the names and numbers mentioned in the text, especially deleted some of the modifiers in the text, as well as the words that I had slightly praised him from other historical sources, and at the same time restored all the words I relayed to his original words, becoming more rigorous and plain. Shi Yunzhong told me that her father did not like to make any exaggerations about his life's achievements.
Wang Shixiang
I did not have the opportunity to compile a book for Mr. Shixiang, but I was very close to him. For we have many mutual friends. He is a connoisseur of cultural relics, folklorist, calligrapher and gourmet, and a humble "miscellaneous family".
Because Mr. is involved in some fields, my knowledge blind spots are too many, the pen power is not caught, so I lazily take shortcuts, simplified to "picture theory", the title of the title "Only the King Is Respected - The Picture Says Wang Shixiang", Mr. read the manuscript and returned it to me, I browsed, I felt ashamed and reconciled. I was ashamed that it was too rough, and what made me feel ashamed of myself was that I had written the big name of Mr. Liu Pansui as "Liu Pansui", which was really disrespectful. He made only corrections, not criticisms. What touched me was that he changed it so carefully that a short paragraph of "Listening Bugs" was rewritten. What struck me the most was the gentleman's humility, changing the slightly colored "words" when writing him into plain statements. In 1946, he was sent to Japan to recover a good book that had been plundered by the Japanese, and I wrote that "he is the best foreign language in the staff of the Forbidden City", and he is easy to be "the one who has no language barriers".
