Huai Su (737–799) was a Chinese calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. Commonly known as Qian, the character Zangzhen, was a native of Changsha, Hunan (a native of Lingling (present-day Lingling District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province)). He was born in the twenty-fifth year of emperor Xuanzong's reign (737) and was founded in the fifteenth year of Emperor Dezong's reign (799). Because of his three monks, the history of the book refers to him as "Lingling Monk" or "Shi Changsha".
Huai Su is an outstanding calligrapher in Chinese history, his cursive writing is called "wild grass", with a round and powerful pen, turning like a ring, unrestrained and smooth, in one breath, and Zhang Xu is equally famous, and later has the name of "Zhang Qiansu Crazy" or "Turbulent Zhang Drunken Su". It can be said that it is a classical romantic art, which has a profound impact on future generations.
