The building on fire was built in the 1960s and is not registered as a relic. After the firefighters went out, they spent more than 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.
The fire department speculated that the damage caused by the fire was about 10 million won (about 58,000 yuan), but fortunately there were no casualties. The specific cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Cui Zhiyuan also sorted out and screened his works during his life in the Tang Dynasty and compiled them into the "Guiyuan Pen Cultivation Collection", which still occupies an important position in the literary circles of the Korean Peninsula, and is regarded as the pioneering work of the Korean collection on the peninsula and a witness to the cultural exchange between China and South Korea.
