On the morning of May 29th, the grand opening ceremony of "Sino-Korean Cultural Exchange - Cui Zhiyuan Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" was held at the Gaochun District Cultural Center in Nanjing. The calligraphy and painting exhibition is supported by the Nanjing Jinling Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by the Cui Zhiyuan Cultural Exchange and Development Research Association, the Choi Central Clan Association of Gyeongju, South Korea, the China-Korea Cultural and Educational Friendship Association, and co-hosted by Jiangsu Zhejiang Merchants Industry Group and China Cursive Research Institute.

Choe Ji-won was the first scholar and poet in the history of the Joseon Dynasty to leave a personal collection of essays, born in 837 AD. He served for many years as an official in Lishui (present-day Lishui District and Gaochun District, Nanjing). He is the author of "Guiyuan Pen Collection" (20 volumes) and other masterpieces, and China's "Quan Tang Poems" has his works. For example, "the body is easy to be stained; the heart is difficult to wash." Famous phrases such as "A thousand mountains are in the palm of the hand; everything is in the chest" are from Cui Zhiyuan's pen.

At the opening ceremony, Zhang Chaoxia said in her speech that Choi Jerry is the "ancestor of Eastern Literature" in South Korea, and also a representative figure in the history of Sino-South Korean friendly relations and cultural exchanges. The poetry, calligraphy and painting art of China and South Korea have a long history and are an important link of communication and exchange between the two countries. This exhibition provides everyone with a rich feast of Cultural Exchange between China and South Korea. It is hoped that through this exchange of calligraphy and painting, we will promote the non-governmental cultural exchanges between China and South Korea, enhance the friendship between the chinese and Korean peoples, promote the high-quality development of Gaochun's economy and cultural tourism, enhance the cultural brand of Gaochun District, better publicize Gaochun to the society, and play an important role in throwing bricks and jade for cultural tourism, economic development and investment attraction in Gaochun District.
Subsequently, Cui Bingzhu and Lou Guohai spoke separately, fully affirming the positive significance of the exchange of Cui Zhiyuan's poetry and painting exhibition, hoping to take this as an opportunity to actively build a platform to enhance mutual understanding, and use calligraphy and painting as a link to enhance cultural exchanges and development between the two countries.

After the opening ceremony, the guests took a group photo to commemorate the occasion, and conducted on-site visits and exchanges, this cui zhiyuan poetry calligraphy and painting exhibition brought together nearly 100 fine works, including poetry, calligraphy, painting and other art forms, is a large-scale historical celebrity calligraphy and painting art exhibition in Jiangsu Province in recent years.

On the day of the event, the two sides also conducted a project discussion on "Cui Zhiyuan Characteristic Cultural Town". The participants said that from the perspective of the distribution of traditional cultural resources, Gaochun is the area with the most remains in Nanjing, and the good objective conditions have laid a deep foundation for Gaochun to develop local cultural industry brands. Subsequently, Chairman Lou Guohai briefly introduced the relevant situation of "Cui Zhiyuan Characteristic Cultural Town", hoping to promote more in-depth cooperation between the two sides in industrial cooperation, tourism and cultural exchanges on the basis of this activity, promote the sharing of advantageous resources, and achieve win-win development for all parties.
