On the afternoon of March 30, Qingdao Technological University held a meeting of cadres at and above the middle level to announce the decision of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee on the appointment and dismissal of the school leadership team: Comrade Wang Yajun was appointed secretary of the party committee of Qingdao Technological University. Present at the meeting were Li Yanlin, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Provincial CPC Committee and director of the Bureau of Veteran Cadres of the Provincial CPC Committee; Huang Qi, deputy secretary of the Provincial CPC Committee's Work Committee for Colleges and Universities (at the level of the main department); Zhang Hongying, director of the Cadre Department of the Provincial CPC Committee's Work Committee for Colleges and Universities; and Chen Yuping, deputy director of the Fourth Division of Cadres of the Organization Department of the Provincial CPC Committee. The meeting was presided over by Yang Xiangrong, deputy secretary of the school party committee.

At the meeting, Li Yanlin made an important speech, Huang Qi read out the decision of the provincial party committee on the adjustment of the appointment and dismissal of the school's leading body, and the provincial party committee decided: Comrade Wang Yajun was appointed secretary of the school party committee. In his speech, Li Yanlin pointed out that the provincial party committee has always been very concerned about and attaches great importance to the building of the leading body of Qingdao Technological University. The current readjustment of the leading body is a decision made by the provincial party committee to carry forward democracy, fully brew, and carefully study.

Li Yanlin put forward three opinions on the current work of our school and the construction of the leading body: First, persist in comprehensively and strictly administering the party and earnestly fulfill the main responsibility. The second is to strengthen and improve the ideological and political work in colleges and universities and ensure that colleges and universities will always become a strong position for upholding the leadership of the party. The third is to seize the opportunity, take advantage of the momentum, and strive to build a high-level university with distinctive characteristics.

Li Yanlin pointed out that the provincial party committee and the provincial government are highly concerned about the development of Qingdao Technological University and have also placed high hopes on it. We believe that under the leadership of the school's leadership team, everyone will be able to overcome all kinds of difficulties and build the school into a first-class high-level university with first-class characteristics at an early date.

Comrade Wang Yajun expressed his position that he fully supports and resolutely obeys the decision of the provincial party committee, sincerely thanks the organization for its trust, cultivation and expectations, and sincerely thanks the organization department of the provincial party committee, the working committee of the provincial party committee for colleges and universities, and the provincial education department for their long-term attention, concern and support for Qingdao Technological University. Firmly establish the "four consciousnesses", resolutely safeguard the core position of General Secretary Xi Jinping, resolutely safeguard the authority of the Party Central Committee and centralized and unified leadership, firmly grasp the political direction of the school, effectively implement the central deployment and the requirements of the provincial party committee, complete the major task of Hao Li De Shuren, and cultivate the builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

The second is to always grasp party building and gather healthy trends. Strictly implement the political responsibility of managing the party and governing the party and the responsibility of the first responsible person, firmly establish the concept of "grasping party building well is the greatest political achievement" and "grasping party building is to grasp the main business and grasp development", plan, deploy, and evaluate party building together with the construction of "first-class high-level universities with first-class characteristics", so that "the first responsibility" and "the first priority" can be played together, shoulder to shoulder, and grasped together, and the leading body, leading the team, and setting an example in a strict and down-to-earth manner, deeply promoting the building of a sound party style and a clean and honest government and the anti-corruption struggle, and striving to create a clean and healthy campus political ecology. The third is to always promote reform and bravely take responsibility. Closely focusing on the goal of building a "first-class high-level university with first-class characteristics" in the school, we will go all out to promote comprehensive reform, in accordance with General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements, "we must put reform in a more prominent position to grasp, not only personally grasp and take the lead, but also have the courage to pick the heaviest burden and gnaw the hardest bones, so that important reforms are personally deployed, major programs are personally checked, key links are personally coordinated, and the implementation is personally supervised. "Aiming at the set goals, actively and steadily promoting all aspects of career development, and promoting the development of the school to a new level."

The fourth is to always be positive and benchmark. Wang Yajun said that the reform and development task of Qingdao Technological University is very arduous, the provincial party committee has placed deep hopes on the development of Qingdao Technological University, and the whole university must unite as one, work together with one heart, forge ahead, promote development with hard work, win the future with hard work, and create a new situation in the reform and development of Qingdao Technological University.
