After director Bi Zhifei's work was played, it also triggered a "group ridicule", and basically no one spoke for Lao Bi. This should all be expected. Doing variety shows, it must be so. We cannot force a variety show to present much literary and artistic attributes.
Liang Long's "Crazy Alien" was suspended, making me, an online audience, look a bit "like a fish in the throat". The main reason is that this short film, the content played in front of it, is all pomp and circumstance, and to present the level of director and screenwriter, it must be the last shot, or even the last shot. The position of being paused should be the position where the short film really wants to enter the final sprint for the final one. In terms of Tencent Video, it is still better to release the full version of Liang Long's "Crazy Alien".
Of course, this may be the cleverness of the program group to do variety shows, that is, to form controversy and form a topic. For this suspension, I feel that the effect that the program team wants is that the audience who criticizes the scene has no taste, so how can such a work worth looking forward to be suspended. In the program, Liang Long said that the film was not finished, and I refused to discuss it. This is a proper attitude. This short film is not finished, and it is impossible to comment on it. Again, I hope that Tencent Video can release the complete version of Liang Long's work within the time range of its own program planning, so that everyone can see it.
Bi Zhifei brought "Spring in a New Town". The scene is basically "group mockery". In the on-site review, a few words of the filmmaker Fang Li are the most provocative, saying that Bi Zhifei's work does not start from the perspective of a woman, or the story of a man letting his wife go to another man. Under the current female market environment, Bi Zhifei certainly can't bear the contempt of female audiences. Lao Fang engaged in film marketing, that is the door clear, he can always steadily cut the nerve points of some movie fans.
For Bi Zhifei's "Spring in a New Small Town", I would like to talk about my views. Lao Bi's short film reminds me of Yang Zi's "Shouting Mountain" - all kinds of falsehoods, all kinds of overhead, all kinds of romantic drama attributes. From the official resumes released by these two directors, Bi Zhifei and Yang Zi are two directors who can be put together. The works of the two of them are not only immature in the director's technique, but also strangers to the more profound and real images of Chinese life, which they can only rely on mechanized academic teaching films.
Yang Zi's "Shouting Mountain", the film is positioned in the era of the 1980s, but no matter how you look at it, it is like a mountain village idol drama with a very vague era. Bi Zhifei's "Spring in a New Town" is set in the 1990s, but in the short film, it is also impossible to see. Novel creation, film and television drama creation, all have a basic requirement, specific people and things under the background of the era, typical environment and typical characters, typical characters, typical stories. Yang Zi and Bi Zhifei are both directors who are not sure about these basic requirements.
The same story, placed in different era backgrounds, will occur different character behavior choices. Therefore, we often say that good writers and good filmmakers can deeply insert themselves into the times and cast the voice of the times. Take the novel, Mr. Mo Yan's novels, there are a lot of villages in the sixties and seventies, put them in our time, and then write about the countryside, and still like Teacher Mo Yan's protagonist personality, the story content, it is obviously wrong. Therefore, in every era, there are writers who belong to their own times. Of course, we don't seem to produce writers now, because serious literary creation can starve people to death.
Bi Zhifei's problem is that he does not have the ability to create a solid script. Among the film and television drama work, the greatest work is script creation. This is a process from zero to one. All that's left is the director, the camera, the lighting, the actors, the sound... Teachers who wait infinitely draw a zero on the back. Many of us directors have the ability to draw zeros on the basis of one. However, let them create from zero to one, and they immediately show timidity.
