In fact, earlier, Huawei was already prepared for the birth of Cangjie. Last year, it was repeatedly rumored that Huawei was developing a programming language. In February this year, Huawei applied for the registration of the "Cangjie Language" and "Huawei Cangjie" trademarks. This multitude of messages constitutes a complete clue, that is, Huawei will definitely develop its own programming language, and this language will serve Hongmeng and Euler.
The name of this self-developed programming language, like Hongmeng and Euler, has distinctive characteristics. "Hongmeng" comes from the legend of ancient times, when the world was still a chaotic yuanqi, and this chaotic and initial stage of all things was called the Hongmeng era. Therefore, "Hongmeng" also has the meaning of groundbreaking and chaotic initial opening, which is quite echoing its positioning as China's first pure self-developed mobile phone system. Euler, in fact, has the same name as a sub-brand under Great Wall Motors, and it sounds very Westernized. Indeed, Euler was a Swiss mathematician and scientist, on a par with Newton. As for the programming language char this time, the significance is equally far-reaching. "Cangjie", everyone knows the Cangjie input method, that is because he is known as the person who created Chinese hieroglyphs. In other words, Cangjie is a word maker, which echoes the "word" in computers, the programming language. The English name "char" also means a character in computers. Huawei did not directly transliterate Cangjie as canjie, which is quite ingenious.
In addition to Hongmeng, Euler, Cangjie, Huawei's other products include Qilin, Kunpeng, Shengteng, Lingxiao, almost without exception, are related to ancient Chinese culture, although a bit of a twist, but it sounds very meaningful.
You should be able to see that Hongmeng benchmarks the Android mobile phone system, Euler benchmarks the Microsoft computer system, then Cangjie is naturally the dominant programming language for the benchmark.
