The 16x16-driven, Dongfeng 41 missile launcher made the Russians jealous: thanks to Belarus

Russia has recently been "full of vinegar", and Russian media reported that Belarus continues to export Russian "treasure" technology, such as: DF-31, DF-41 intercontinental missile launch vehicle technology. After Belarus exported important military technology, the two sides expressed mutual gratitude.

Chassis of a Heavy Intercontinental Missile of Belarus

The Russian side believes that the DF-31ag and DF-41 intercontinental missiles have a strong heavy ability to carry and launch intercontinental missiles, thanks to the chassis created by relying on Belarusian technology. "The plant that produces this chassis is located in Belarus. After the great changes in Eastern Europe, Belarus inherited the original military factory and inherited the technology of a heavy off-road launch platform for the manufacture of mobile missile launchers. Moreover, Russia has not had this technology for some time. Belarus has always had the technical right to decide on the platform. In the development of the Dongfeng missile, cooperation with Belarus has provided a lot of help to the military industries of both sides.

DF-31A intercontinental missile

By introducing technology from Belarus, DF ICBM launchers can easily have heavy off-road missile launchers. The Russian report mentioned that "with the help of the Belarusian missile research and development team, the new generation of intercontinental missiles has played a very important role in the defense industry of the partners, and now the belarusian partners have mastered the launcher and launcher technology produced domestically." The partners are very grateful to Belarus for its generous assistance. The Russians believe that Belarus's heavy missile off-road vehicle technology has taken an important step in the development of the Dongfeng missile into a modern mobile strategic missile system.

DF-41 intercontinental missile

Russia said, for example, the DF-17 ballistic missile equipped with a hypersonic warhead and the DF-100 strategic long-range supersonic missile five-axis missile launcher, as well as the six-axis chassis equipped with the DF-26 missile system and the eight-axis chassis equipped with the DF-31ag intercontinental range missile; and the eight-axis chassis placed the most powerful strategic intercontinental missile to date - the DF-41, which is a long-range weapon no less than the Russian "Poplar" series of missiles. The eight-axle chassis has 16 tires that can be freely linked.

The Russian side believes that with the technical support of Belarus, the partner's Dongfeng missile has achieved complete localization, and even surpassed Russia in creating its own multi-axis chassis. The Russian side said: Of course, the Russian army also has an excellent intercontinental missile launcher chassis. But more troublesomely, the Russian ICBM launcher was produced at the Minsk Wheeled Tractor Factory in neighboring Belarus.

Why is it still not possible to produce this technology in Russia? In fact, for more than a decade, the Kamas Automobile Plant has been carrying out a series of work, and there are also some vehicles with excellent load carrying capacity, speed and maneuverability. But Russia has never been equipped with its own ICBM launcher. This is because in Russia, there is currently no production capacity for powerful diesel engines, power electronics, tires, and many of the most important components for the manufacture of missile launchers.

Russia also has heavy missile carriers, but the quality is very poor

Russia will need extra time and tens of millions of dollars to create a missile launcher with combat capability. During these times, Russian missile launchers will continue to use Belarusian missile launcher chassis. Russia also has no extra money to invest. In 1998, Belarus and its partners jointly established the Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd. for the manufacture of multi-axle wheeled tractors and chassis for various purposes with a carrying capacity of 20 to 75 tons. The joint venture is involved in the Minsk Wheeled Tractor Factory in Belarus. According to statutory documents, belarus, as a joint venture, supplied 70% of the components in the first five years of operation. Subsequently, the share of Belarusian parts should be reduced to 30%. Since then, Belarus has begun to fully transport heavy missile carrier technology, and the Russian side said that according to the above, the indisputable conclusion is that Belarus has provided strong products and technical support for its partner's Dongfeng missile!
