This old policeman's name is Zhu Liwei, the captain of the ninth brigade of the traffic police detachment of the Zhengzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, and he is 52 years old this year.
Be bold and show your heroism again
Training troops first trains the elders, and age is not a problem. But at the beginning of his election, he still had some concerns, and later learned that he was the oldest of the 32 teams of the national traffic police participating in this subject, and he was worried about whether he could still fight like a young man. Zhu Liwei was a top professional in the armed police force when he joined the army, and after transferring to the public security organs for decades, he trained a hard kung fu, and although his age did not take advantage, he still felt full of confidence.
The training is high-intensity, the whole subject process is 50 minutes, the drill has to be repeated several times a day, his knee and wrist have been injured, as long as the hand and knee parts are used during training, he will feel the pain of drilling the heart, but for the standardization of the movement, he clenches his teeth and stiffens. It was the height of summer, and I was sweating profusely when I stood outside, and people in their 50s were a tough test. He suffers from high blood pressure and is not prone to strenuous activity, but the subject he and his teammates compete in is a fierce confrontation between the two sides. As long as he came to the training ground he forgot everything, sometimes suddenly felt light-headed, took out the sphygmomanometer he carried with him, the low pressure did not go down a hundred, the high pressure was up and down, his quick way to lower the blood pressure was to drink a bottle of mineral water in one breath, a little calm immediately continued training, and then afraid of affecting the training, he increased the amount of antihypertensive drugs, first pressed the blood pressure to make it impossible, although this is very dangerous, but he can only do so.
Face difficulties and persevere
At the critical moment of training, the 80-year-old mother suddenly had a cerebral infarction in the hospital, he did not tell his teammates about this matter, the training ground did not see that he had any abnormality, after a tense and busy high-intensity training all day, dragging the tired body, but also ran to the hospital to keep vigil, the next day still silently active on the training ground, the belief that the competition must win supported him, so he insisted on two and a half months. In the end, the mother could not be cured, the son wanted to raise and the relatives were not there, and the most sad and regrettable thing in life was like this. Zhu Liwei's father is also a senior in the police circle, he is very aware of the burden on the child's shoulders, the old man said to him in a firm tone: "I know your current situation, the task is in the body, do not be distracted by me" It is also the father's encouragement and support, Zhu Liwei did not delay a day of training.
Gold medals made of sweat
On November 10, the opening ceremony of the first national traffic police system real-combat training competition was held at the Henan Police College. As soon as the Zhengzhou traffic police project was unveiled, it immediately attracted the warm applause of the national counterparts who watched the competition, and the arduous training for several months was released at this moment, Zhu Liwei led his teammates to calmly respond to the battle, one move and one standard specification. In the final judging, this project of Zhengzhou traffic police won the second prize in the 32 traffic police teams across the country.
