Later, a wise young man named Imhotep, when he designed the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh King Zosai, replaced the mud bricks with square stones mined from the mountain, and constantly revised the design of the mausoleum, and finally built a six-step trapezoidal pyramid - this is the prototype of the pyramid.
In ancient Egyptian, the pyramids were trapezoidal and hierarchical, hence the name hierarchical pyramids. This is a tall horn cone building with a square base that looks like the Chinese character for "gold", so we call it "pyramid".
In the earliest times, the Egyptian pharaohs intended to use the "mastaba" as a permanent residence after death. Later, around the time of the Second and Third Dynasties, the Egyptians developed the religious idea that the king would become a god after his death, and that his soul would ascend to heaven and continue to dominate the world. So they built a "ladder" for Pharaoh so that he could ascend from the pyramid to heaven. The Egyptian pyramids have gone through thousands of years of vicissitudes, but they are still intact, showing the exquisite architecture and advanced science and technology of the ancient Egyptians, and have become a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization.
