Craftsmen, in their hearts, are beautiful with craftsmanship, and they are also sublime with craftsmanship. What they are doing is not a treasure that can only be locked in a safe for collection, nor is it an emotionless ornament, but something close to people's hearts. Every leisurely afternoon or late night, accompanied by favorite music, buried on a stone, each carving tool in hand, looking at ease, as if calmly wandering on their own battlefield, left and right, invincible. The carving knife in his hand was given life at that moment, allowing the stone and the craftsman to achieve the most perfect encounter in this life.

Zheng Hong
Born in 1968 in Fuzhou Shoushan Stone birthplace houyu village carving family. Grandfather Zheng Zuzhu, (one of the two bamboo trees in the East Gate) was a member of the Republic of China. Since childhood, he was taught by his father, Master Zheng Chengshui, and loved art and received the true inheritance of his father. In 1986, he studied in the Fine Arts Department of Fujian Provincial College of Education, under the guidance of Xu Jinbao, a first-class painter, and later under the careful guidance of the famous painter Chen Chuliang, he was good at character sculpture, panoramic landscape, animals and other techniques, and his works integrated poetry, books and paintings into one, with a unique style. In November 2011, his personal works were exhibited at the Fuzhou Sculpture Art Museum, which was watched and praised by people from all walks of life, and Yang Yue, secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, accompanied Wang Yong, director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and leaders from all walks of life came to visit, giving high evaluation and strong support. His works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. 【Xiangxi Visiting Friends】 is collected by the Art Museum of China, and the work [Descending Dragon Luohan] is collected by the Fujian Provincial Arts and Crafts Museum.

In 1996, "Building the Great Wall" and "Recruiting Wealth and Fortune" won the Excellent Work Award of the 10th "Ruyi Award" of Arts and Crafts of Fuzhou City. In 1998, "Wangjing Quenching Thirst" won the first prize of the "Treasure Award" of sculpture art of Fujian Sculpture Art Center, the second prize of the 12th "Ruyi Award" of Fuzhou Arts and Crafts, the second prize of the 12th "Ruyi Award" of Fuzhou Arts and Crafts, and the "Herding Goose" won the Excellent Work Award.
