Zhao Qing, Senior Editor, Director of the Exhibition Department of the Photographic Art Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Secretary-General of the Curatorial Committee of the China Photographers Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Press Photo Society, and Graduate Industry Tutor of the School of Journalism, Chinese Min University. He was the director of the Visual Center of China Youth Daily and the chief editor of the photography special edition of China Youth Daily.
His works include "The Great Wall Is Not a Wall", "Beijing: The Olympic Games in the TV", "The Old Man of the Rivers" and so on. He has won the first prize of the World Press Photography Competition (Hesai), the nomination of the professional group of the Sony World Photography Award, the gold medal of "Golden Lens", the "Top Ten Picture Editors" of China News Photography, etc., and won the first, second and third prizes of the China Journalism Awards as a picture editor.
His work "Olympic Games on TV" won the first prize of the 52nd Holland Sports Thematic Group Photo
Zhao Qing, senior journalist, is currently the chairman of Shenzhen Photographers Association, a member of the party committee and editorial board of Shenzhen Evening News.
He is a member of the China Photographers Association, a director of the China Press Photography Society, the executive president of the China Evening News Photography Society, and a member of the presidium of the Guangdong Photographers Association. He is an expert of the cultural group of Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone and a member of the Fifth CPPCC Shenzhen Municipal Committee.
In 1993, the "Shenzhen 8.5 Big Explosion Documentary" won the 13th China Press Photo Gold Medal Award, achieving a breakthrough of zero in Guangdong Province, and won the China Journalism Award in the same year. In 1994, he won the silver medal of the first "Golden Eye Award" for Chinese photojournalists. In February 2009, his photographic work won the single silver medal in the general news category of the 52nd World Press Photo Contest (Jose). In December 2014, he won the 10th Chinese Photography "Golden Film Award". In December 2018, he won the Guangdong Lu Xun Literature and Art Award. His photographic works have been exhibited in 4 solo exhibitions at home and abroad, and 3 personal photographic books have been published. For 6 consecutive years, he served as the general executive of the large-scale image project "Image Shenzhen Family Tree" of the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee. In the past five years, he has served as a judge of national, provincial and municipal photography competitions.
