The Netflix sci-fi drama Altered Carbon has received a lot of attention since it announced that it had been directly booked for the season. Following the suspected exposure of scene GIF stills a few days ago, the show officially released a preview of the launch date today and released the first wave of stills. The trailer can be found on the Internet, and if you can find a non-Chinese version, there are indescribable shots in it.
Laeta Kalogridis, screenwriter of Confinement Island, wrote the script for the demo episode of Copy and served as executive producer. Miguel Sapochnik, the award-winning director of the heavyweight American drama "Game of Thrones", "Battle of the Bastards", directed the pilot episode. In the trailer we can see that the world is very similar to the world of Blade Runner, with tall buildings, neon lights, bad weather, dirty streets. This cyberpunk feel is amazing!

"Copy" is an American drama adapted from the British science fiction writer Richard. Richard K. Morgan's 2002 best-selling novel of the same name. The plot describes a future 300 years from now, where human consciousness can be stored in digital implants (called "stacks"), which allow the wealthy to constantly upgrade their bodies (known as "prosthetics") and essentially live forever. The story happened to an elite soldier named Takeshi Kovacs. It was a scene he remembered (he was originally played by Will Yun Lee) and his sister, Reileen Kawahara, played by Dichen Lachman. They were killers hired by revolutionaries.
Just "awoke" Kovac
Kovac was later arrested and imprisoned. His consciousness was stored, and centuries later his consciousness was implanted in another body: VuKovach, now played by Joel Kinnaman.

The man who awakened Kovac was Laurens bancroft, played by James Purefoy, a rich man who could help Lawrence find the real culprit who murdered him, then Lawrence could get Kovac's charges pardoned. Lawrence had already killed several "prosthetics" before.
Renee Goetzberg
The person responsible for training Kovac is Quell, played by Renee Elise Goldsberry. She will teach Kovac how to fight, how to rely on intuition, and how to survive.
Martha Higarida
Kovac's release piqued the interest of Kristin Ortega, played by Martha Higareda, a detective with a very complicated past.

This is a shot of Kovac and Ortega together. The protesters, who are members of a religious group, oppose the use of "prosthetic limbs" to deceive people who die and achieve immortality.

The first 10 episodes of The Quest will begin airing on February 2, 2018. While we don't know how much the show costed to produce (and Netflix won't confirm the rumors), the show is said to be the contender for the highest production cost of the year. If you watch the trailer, then you will know that what is true is true.
