Beijing, November 1 (Reporter Ma Haiyan) "The key to breaking the 'five onlys' is to set up a 'new standard', the higher the level of scholars, the more they can use a landmark achievement to reflect their level and as their own academic signboard, 'ten years of grinding a sword' to create first-class achievements and first-class talents, inventory of 'a sword' can make the original results win in time." Liu Yidong, director of the Center for Science and Technology and Society research at the Institute of Natural Science History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said.

Breaking the "five onlys" of only scores, only advancement, only diplomas, only papers, and only hats is a hot topic in colleges and universities in recent years. Promoting the original innovation of "ten years of grinding a sword" is the direction of academic evaluation reform.
