On May 8, Li Hongyan, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, and Zhao Tingting, deputy governor of the District People's Government, went to Jianning Street to investigate and guide the construction of the Ephedra Ancient Tree Park project. The responsible persons of the Publicity Department of the District Party Committee, the District Cultural and Tourism Bureau, the District Natural Resources Bureau, the District City Investment Company, The Jianning Street and the project construction party attended.
Through on-site inspection, the research team listened to the project construction report and fully affirmed the construction of the project.
Li Hongyan, Zhao Tingting and the heads of relevant departments directly under the district have successively put forward constructive and feasible opinions and suggestions on the land planning, legal provisions, services for the people, residents' leisure, and project construction in Ephedra Park.
It is reported that the ephedra community relies on the site selection of the ancient tree group, and in August 2020, according to local conditions, serving the people, following the ecology, and driving development, invested more than 9 million yuan to build an ancient tree park covering an area of more than 50 acres. The park has laid a lawn of nearly 7,000 square meters and planted with flowers and plants such as moon flowers, rosemary, cherry blossoms, weeping begonias, and pink daisy seeds, and the park was completed at the end of March 2021. Now, it has become a place for residents of the ephedra community to take a leisurely walk after tea and dinner, and also provides a good place for Qujing citizens to relax and sightsee and experience homesickness in the city.
Jianning Street Ephedra Community is located in the northwest corner of Qilin City, located in qujing City", the connection point of the integrated development of "Qi Zhun Ma", with obvious location advantages. The area under the jurisdiction of Ephedra Ercun (Wang surname resident group) is 0.52 square kilometers, and there are 615 residents in 187 households and 12 party members. In June 2016, the Qilin District People's Government launched the transformation of shantytowns in the ephedra area, and the Wang residents' group was included in the shantytown reform project. At the same time, 152 sets of commercial and residential buildings in Xinzhuang, a group of residents surnamed Wang, were also erected, standing neatly in the north of the original Laozhuang, street lamps, monitoring, public toilets, basketball courts, cultural and sports squares, leisure pavilions and other infrastructure were comprehensively improved, and the problem of residents "living and living" was solved.
In terms of collective economic development, the ephedra community made full use of its geographical advantages to lease the idle land of the Wang resident group located along Cuifeng North Road, and some automobile sales and service companies have landed one after another, forming an automobile sales and service industry line. Local residents of Ephedra started their own businesses and built Jingyang Food Co., Ltd. in a group of residents surnamed Wang. The Wang residents' group revitalized land resources, not only developed the collective economy, but also solved the employment problem for more than 100 local residents.
