Designed by the famous architect Kurokawa Kisho, Kurokawa takes "symbiosis" as the concept, emphasizing that all buildings are built to match the harmony of man and nature, using glass to introduce natural light, emphasizing energy conservation.
The façade is a small glass curtain wall, wavy, so that the indoor light and shadow changes are very rich, but also let the indoor high public area and the outdoor integration. This area has two inverted triangular cones above for dining spaces, one of which is technically licensed by a three-star Chef michelin.
The pavilion regularly hosts exhibitions on different themes, and is mainly based on modern art from the early 20th century.
