On December 18, 2019, Qujing Economic and Economic Development Zone in Yunnan Province signed a tripartite agreement with Shanghai Baoping Energy and Shenzhen Defang Nano, marking the official entry of Shanghai Baosteel Gas Qujing Air Separation Project into Qujing Economic Development Zone.
After that, the liquid air separation project is a joint venture construction by Baoping Energy Investment Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Defang NanoTechnology Co., Ltd., with a planned total investment of about 260 million yuan and a total planned investment of about 100 million yuan in the first phase, which is invested in the form of a Sino-foreign joint venture company.
After the project reaches production, it is expected to have annual sales of 70 million yuan and tax revenue of nearly 10 million yuan. Moreover, after the completion of the project, it will provide a stable and high-quality gas supply for the new energy and new material industrial park, enhance the supporting capacity of the lithium iron phosphate project, and help the industrial transformation and development of Qujing Economic Development Zone.
