Born in 1920 to a peasant family in Zigong City, Sichuan Province. When she officially joined the Communist Party of China in 1938, when she was in the normal school, Jiang Zhujun had a high prestige among her classmates, and her classmates called her Sister Jiang. In life, she led many classmates to make progress together, which caused the organization to pay attention to her.

Peng Yongwu is the first member of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party's underground party, and his public identity is that of a mid-level employee of the Kuomintang Central Trust Bureau. In the second half of 1947, the People's Liberation War entered a strategic counteroffensive. Peng Yongwu took the initiative to ask Miao to lead a group of comrades to eastern Sichuan to organize and lead an armed uprising. By this time, however, Kuomintang agents had launched an investigation into the Communists.
Sister Jiang also signed up to go to Chuandong, but at that time, she had just given birth to a child, and the organization considered her physical condition and refused. A few months later, the Chongqing underground party sent a group of comrades to eastern Sichuan to support, and Sister Jiang was among them. Before leaving, she realized the dangers of the trip and entrusted the child to her relatives to raise.
Sister Jiang put on makeup and came to Fengjie County with joy to look for Peng Yongwu. Suddenly, she saw a large group of people at the city gate, and she walked over and saw a row of wooden cages hanging from the head of the city, and inside the wooden cage was a personal head!
Sister Jiang realized that many more comrades had sacrificed, and she immediately stepped forward to understand the situation. At this time, a shocking line of text came into her eyes - bandit Peng Yongwu!
Sister Jiang quickly found the party organization and made a report. She did not cry, but her lips were shaking slightly: This is nothing, please tell your superiors, I ask to stay where Old Peng works and continue to complete the task.
At this time, white terror hung over Eastern Sichuan, and underground CCP members were constantly threatened. The enemy heard that Peng Yongwu's wife was active in this area, so he sent people to search everywhere.
On the morning of June 14, 1948, Sister Jiang was on her way when she suddenly heard someone calling her, and she looked back and saw that it was Ran Yizhi, deputy secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee of the underground Communist Party of China. Sister Jiang raised her vigilance and asked him: Why did you come here? He couldn't answer.
According to the discipline of underground work, the real name of the leader could not be mentioned in public, and Jiang Zhujun went straight forward. At this time, two agents rushed over and grabbed her.
Suffer from inhuman torture
Jiang Zhujun was escorted by agents to Chongqing's Zhadidong, where many heads of the CCP's underground party organizations were imprisoned.
Because Sister Jiang was an important liaison, the agents regarded Sister Jiang as an important target for breaking the Communist Party's organization in eastern Sichuan, and for more than a month, they did not interrupt her severe interrogation. Sister Jiang was thin and weak, but the torture of the enemy was extremely cruel.
That night, Sister Jiang was once again taken away by the agents, and the comrades snuggled up at the door of the cell and waited quietly. The interrogation room was not far from the cell, and the night was silent, and the voice on the other side was particularly clear.
"I was arrested in October, and we were the people in the slag cave, Sister Jiang suffered the most, she was caught in a bamboo stick."
After some interrogation, Sister Jiang probably passed out, and everyone heard a palpitating sound of pouring cold water. Say it or not? Say not to speak! The agent screamed loudly, but did not hear a single moan from Sister Jiang. On this night, the people in the slag cave cell stayed up all night, and everyone had a strangely heavy heart.
According to Liu Debin, an underground party member, he and Sister Jiang were arrested in the same group, and that night, Jiang Zhujun and several other female comrades were severely sentenced. Liu Debin personally heard the agents sigh with admiration, these women are really very hard, just don't open their mouths.
"When we were letting go of the wind, Sister Jiang stretched out her finger from the door hole and waved to us, and we saw that her fingers were swollen, and Sister Jiang was one of the more obvious tortures among the female comrades. I was caught punching and kicking, and I didn't suffer that punishment. ”
On this day, the big iron door by the high wall rang, everyone gathered at the door to look out, and two agents dragged the unconscious Sister Jiang to the women's prison, where she had endured a night of torture, bled too much, and completely lost consciousness.
Before Sister Jiang woke up, when the comrades in the women's cell helped her bandage her wounds, she found that when she was tortured by the enemy, she clenched her teeth because of the pain, and her lips were broken.
Letters of condolence and poems were secretly transmitted from various cells to women's cells. Sister Jiang's actions aroused strong ideological resonance among all the victims, and they encouraged each other to be as brave and strong as Sister Jiang. More than 200 victims of Zha di Dong Prison formed a revolutionary fighting collective.
Sister Jiang said a sentence that inspired generations: Bamboo sticks are made of bamboo, and the will of Communist Party members is made of steel.
Dawn was coming, but she couldn't see it
At 3 p.m. on October 1, 1949, in Beijing's Tiananmen Square, Chairman Mao Zedong solemnly announced the founding of the People's Republic of China to the world.
At this time, the Chinese People's Liberation Army sounded the clarion call to understand and enlarge the southwest to march into Chongqing. Chiang Kai-shek fidgeted at his chongqing residence, and seeing that the last shelter was gone, he ordered Mao Renfeng to plan a massacre. They're going to take action against the Communists in the scum cave!
The pre-dawn darkness is often more brutal, and the Kuomintang is on the verge of extinction, so it is more crazy and more dying. Mao Renfeng has never been soft in killing people, and for communists and democrats, Mao Renfeng's consistent advocate is to cut the grass and remove the roots, even the children.
At 9:00 a.m. on November 14, 1949, a large number of secret agents suddenly came from the Zha di Dong Prison, the gate of the prison where Sister Jiang was located was opened, and the agents took her away on the pretext of transferring Sister Jiang to other prisons.
On November 14, 1949, Sister Jiang was killed by the enemy in Chongqing's Zhadidong Prison.
On November 30, 1949, Chongqing was liberated, and Chiang Kai-shek fled to Chengdu in a panic.
