On May 18, 2020, the traffic police stopped Zhao Mou, a man riding an electric vehicle retrograde, and just when the traffic police were preparing to deal with Zhao's traffic violations, Zhao blurted out: "I am a murderer who has been on the run for 25 years." Subsequently, Zhao was taken to the police station by the traffic police.
After a police investigation, in 1995, Zhao suspected that his wife was having an affair with Liu, and in the process of arguing with Liu, he killed Liu with a knife. Zhao has since embarked on the road of escape.
The case entered the review and prosecution stage, and Zhao was lucky to expect to be sentenced to a maximum of 12 years, and refused to sign the autopsy appraisal document of the public security organ. Zhao's behavior aroused the vigilance of the procurator handling the case.
