On the afternoon of May 29th, the small theater on the second floor of the Bao'an District Public Cultural Service Center was flooded with visitors, and the 2018 "Famous Teachers Enter Shenzhen" National Instrumental Music Lecture and Famous Song Appreciation - the famous Huqin performance master Mr. Chen Yaoxing, the Erhu Lecture, was held here.
The lecture attracted more than 100 music and ethnic instrumental enthusiasts from all streets, schools, music groups and even other districts in Shenzhen.
Erhu music is rooted in the folk and represents a link in the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. Erhu, also known as "Huqin", is a unique stringed instrument in China. It began in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,000 years. In this long time, it has interpreted deep, tragic stories, and also depicted a magnificent mood. The invited lecture guest, Mr. Chen Yaoxing, is a famous erhu player, erhu educator, composer and national first-class actor in China, who enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council. He created and developed a variety of new playing techniques such as the Lienton bow, the big percussion bow, the slingshot, the plucked string, the pseudo-overtone, the double-string rapid jiggle bow, the small pad kneading string method, etc., and made important explorations in the field of erhu performance and creation, and made important contributions to the development of the erhu performance art.
In his lecture, Mr. Chen Yaoxing focused on the development process of China's erhu and the current situation, and demonstrated the classic erhu famous songs "Lyrical In Northern Shaanxi" and "War Horse Galloping" on the spot, and made relevant appreciations.
