This employee is Wang Siping, a distribution and transportation technician at the maintenance branch of the State Grid Dazhou Power Supply Company. On October 12, 2016, the 10 kV Gangjin Line was tripped. After receiving the report, Wang Siping quickly judged the possible location of the fault, and found the fault point for the first time to repair the electricity. It took only 17 minutes from receiving the order to finding and isolating the fault point, which greatly reduced the impact of the fault power outage on the customer.
"Mainly familiar with the line." Wang Siping said of the day's situation, "The daily operation of that line and which customers it affects are all in mind." To do this, Wang Siping has worked hard. In 2013, as soon as he arrived at the power distribution and inspection room, he combined the GIS geographic information system and the lean management system of the distribution network to "store" the basic data such as the direction, start and end, load and carrying capacity of each line. Two months later, Wang Siping had a clear understanding of the 54 lines of 10 kV and below in his jurisdiction.
For a period of time, the line of operation and maintenance of the distribution and transportation inspection room had a high tripping rate during the peak period of electricity consumption, and the fault repair was frequent, and Wang Siping was anxious. He made up his mind to take "achieving the problem-free distribution network" as the goal of his commitment, establish the idea of "prevention first, multiple measures at the same time", carry out dragnet hidden danger investigation and management, establish hidden danger files, and adopt the method of "centralized maintenance and comprehensive maintenance" to vigorously eliminate the hidden dangers of transmission lines. In two years, the tripping rate of line accidents in the distribution and inspection room has dropped by 51%, and the failure repair rate has dropped by 70%.

For the maintenance of urban distribution networks, carrying out zero-point operations is the best solution, which can minimize the impact on urban transportation and customer production and life. Wang Siping participates in about 20 zero-point operations every year. Before each operation, he would go to the site to repeatedly investigate and ensure that everything was lost. The zero-point operation usually works until 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning, sometimes even 7 or 8 o'clock, after the construction is over, Wang Siping will go directly to the office, after a short break, and then devote himself to the daily work of the new day.
On May 6 this year, the urban area of Dazhou was hit by a wind storm. At 18:00, after receiving the first line trip report, Wang Siping immediately rushed to the scene and found that the sidewalk tree was overturned by the strong wind and fell on the line. As the weather became more and more bad, a number of line trip reports were received one after another, and Wang Siping was arranged to coordinate emergency repairs in the duty room of the control center. Due to his familiarity with the personnel arrangement, familiar with the location direction of the line, and knowing the operation mode of the line, Wang Siping assigned the operation location, accident positioning and disposal tasks to the 5 accident handling teams on the scene, and made each team clear about the accident handling plan, which won time for the rapid elimination of the fault. At 11 o'clock that night, all the damaged lines resumed power transmission, and Wang Siping ended the busy night with a bowl of instant noodles for dinner. Due to frequent long nighttime operations, excessive eye fatigue makes it suffer from optic neuritis.

Good at learning and daring to innovate, Wang Siping has always been strict with himself. During his university years, he received a double bachelor's degree in engineering and management. After joining the workforce, he joined the on-the-job graduate studies and obtained a master's degree in software engineering. In 2010, during the relay protection institute, Wang Siping established a team management information system, which greatly improved the management level of the team and won the second prize for management innovation achievements of Sichuan Electric Power Company. In 2011, the "movable busbar frame" invented by Wang Siping was applied in 6 large-scale construction projects of Dazhou Company, which effectively solved the problem of repeated power outages in the process of switch cabinet transformation, switch station transformation and large-scale operation load transfer, and provided reliable technical support for loss reduction and efficiency improvement.
In 2013, in order to cooperate with the construction of the urban comprehensive pipe network, 10 distribution network lines on Yongxing Road need to be transformed, due to the complex construction load transfer process, involving many departments, long duration, in the face of extremely difficult construction Wang Siping carefully designed the "large-scale construction operation prompt card", in the prompt card to clarify the daily construction work content of each team, dangerous point analysis and pre-control measures, while indicating the departments, units, personnel that must be contacted every day, providing a guarantee for the smooth progress of construction operations. During the construction period of more than 40 days, no deviations and design changes occurred, no matter was missed, and any construction site could be effectively controlled.
At work, Wang Si likes to chase down the roots and ask for help when he encounters problems. In 2012, his invention of "low-pressure air circuit breaker label card holder" won the national utility model patent, and has published two professional papers in national journals. In the "micro-lecture hall" organized by the power distribution and inspection room every week, he gave lectures many times; he often used the weekend to teach new employees his learning methods and work experience to help them become talents as soon as possible.
