At the same time, the public security organs are continuing to conduct in-depth investigations into Zhao Faqi, a party to the "Keqilai case, who is suspected of colluding with Wang Linqing to illegally obtain state secrets and other illegal and criminal acts."

On February 22, 2019, a joint investigation team led by the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission announced the results of the investigation on the loss of the "Keqilai case" file and other issues, and handed over the clues of relevant violations and crimes found in the investigation to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Organs for filing and investigation in accordance with the law.

In the course of the investigation, clues to Wang Linqing's suspected violation of the law in his post were also discovered.
