Guimen Township is located in the southwest of Shengzhou City, east of Linan Township, south of Dongyang City, northwest of Changle Town, is the ecological garden of Shengzhou City.
Guimen was called Lumen in ancient times, and in the Southern Song Dynasty when the academy flourished, the Southern Song Dynasty theorist Lü Da tong (Zi Zhi Shu), who returned to his hometown, came to Lumen and founded the academy, filling the gap of Shengzhou Academy. The "Guimen Lü Clan Genealogy" records: "The Lü clan lived in Henan, and since the Southern Song Dynasty, the Duke of Qin had tossed south, and the Duke of Fengyi (Lü Zhishu) moved to Lumen. ...... At that time, the grass and trees were high, and the sound of yo yo resounded through the valley, so the gate was named after the deer. "Uncle Lü Gui founded Lumen Academy in that year, when he opened with the "Poetry Classic, Xiaoya" "Deer Ming" had "Yo Yo Deer Ming, Eat wild apples." I have guests, drummers blowing" meaning related. Cao Cao's "Short Song Line" is cited as a gesture of seeking the wise and honoring the sages. Uncle Lü Gui's naming of Lumen should also contain the meaning of seeking each other with one voice and recruiting talents from all over the world.
So why did Lumen change its name to Guimen? This had to start with Zhu Xi going to Lumen Academy to give a lecture. In the seventh year of the Southern Song Dynasty (1180), the great famine in eastern Zhejiang, the theorist Zhu Xi used the changping tea salt in eastern Zhejiang to make him a disaster relief, visited Uncle Lü Guishu and lectured in the Lumen Academy, the reputation of the academy rose, and there was an endless stream of scholars. Zhu Xi and Uncle Lü Gui had always had contacts, and knew that the Lü clan had a long history of learning and talents, and could be called "a family of literature, a noble family in the Central Plains", thinking that "there are sages in the mountains who are good and noble, and Lumen should change the title of Guimen", and the "Two Song Dynasty Famous Sages" said that Zhu Xi renamed Lumen to Guimen.
Lumen College is located on Lumen Mountain and is divided into two parts: the Academy and the Building. More green bamboo swaying, stone walls covered. In the "Chronicle of Tongzhi Shengxian County", it is said: "During Shaoxing, Lü Zujing was a pacification envoy in Huainan and sent Shi back to Jianjian. The two peaks face each other, the heather is set up, the downstairs is Tongqu, the left is the Lou'an, and the right Lumen Academy. "Lumen Academy cultivated and educated the children of the township, spread traditional Confucianism, cultivated a large number of talents for the imperial court, and also created a precedent of "both culture and martial arts".
We followed the head of the college to the west wing. As soon as you look up, you can see the plaque of the "Famous Sect of Science". The four large golden characters contrast with the black background, and the couplet written by Zhu Xi on both sides of the door reads: "The sun and the moon, the two rounds of heaven and earth, and the heart of the sages in ten thousand volumes of poetry." "It contains the pursuit of reading and the admiration for the realm of the sages, and we sat in the academy and listened to the teacher's explanation, as if we had traveled through a thousand years and seen the scene of Zhu Xi and his disciples composing poetry and discussing the Tao.
"Once the mountain is built, the structure is exquisite and thirty." The Lumen Academy, written by the Qing Dynasty poet Zhou Shilian, has a courtyard-like structure, and the wood and stone have long faded and been smoothed out by wind and rain, but they are still orderly and permeated with the heavy sense of history.
The academy we saw was a two-story courtyard facing north and south, connected by a cornice. The lower level is a stone pedestal with a patio, and the east and west compartments are the academy and the martial arts hall. The cave gate downstairs was once an ancient road connecting Shengzhou and Jinhua, and the book "Ancient Deer Gate" was written on the south gate, and the inscription "Guimen" on the north gate was "Guimen", and the characters were as big as buckets, which is said to be Zhu Xi's handwriting when he was lecturing here. On the inside of the north and south gates, there are two inscriptions written on the "dust" and "Guiyun", and from the cave gate of "Guiyun", you can look at nanshan lake surrounded by mountains and rivers in the distance.
Nanshan Lake is a reservoir formed by the Nanshan River, a tributary of the Former Xi River. The Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hao (崔颢) once sang into the sword, and here he wrote "Boat Into the Boat", lamenting that "the green mountains are endless, and the green water is long". Along the lake stream, you can reach attractions such as TianxingTan. If you go east, you can go to Baizhai Villa, also known as Meishu. If you go west, you can reach Jiuzhou Peak and Dieshi Rock in Shangwu Mountain. Tongzhi's "Shengxian Chronicle" recorded in the "Collection of Guimen Mountain Chronicles of The Title Of Lu You Village" praised Guimen: "The green mountains have dreams of returning to the moon, and they go deep into the southwest waterfall peak." On the eve of the snowy night, I will nest here and loosen the clouds. ”
At present, Guimen, with its superior historical and cultural background, vigorously carries forward the family style of Guimen Lü's cultivation and inheritance, advocating virtue and frugality, and has created the Lv's family style exhibition hall, inheriting family rules and family training, and developing a comprehensive practice base for teenagers. In the new era, create "Landscape and Guimen", in the green mountains and blue waves, continue the context, and tell the story of Guimen.
