Ranch Story: Crazy Sprint is not the typical Ranch Story. Crazy Dash lets you race with other players to harvest crops, fish or milk cows, rather than settling down and starting a family.
If Mad Dash seems to go beyond Ranch Story, producer Yasunaka Maekawa launched the Mario game, the opposite of tradition. He said that there is not only the traditional platform game Mario, but also sports, racing, party games and so on. Maekawa said: "The traditional ranch story is an extremely time-consuming game." Why don't we do it the other way around and make it a very fast game, but get the thrill of harvesting crops.
In Crazy Dash, the answer is obvious: set a timer for a few minutes and let players work together to get a high score. Each level of the game has a different mission or setting, whether it's piling up crops to make them grow bigger or rolling hay bales for hungry cows. The best results can only be achieved when you communicate with your partner and share the work. One person focuses on this crop while your friend grabs the other. The different plants are represented by colors and take time to harvest. However, if you want your plant to grow too big, you may accidentally destroy the entire crop.
Developers have introduced danger into this mix. In a cave-like level, lava drips down from the ceiling. If you don't pay attention, or work too slowly, your efforts will be in vain. Each level keeps you going. At its core, Maekawa said, Mad Dash still clings to the basics that make Ranch Story so good — "happy, family-friendly games." Ranch Story: Crazy Rush will launch the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 versions this fall.
