Former Manchester United scout Javier Ribalta recently revealed that he wanted to bring Emre Can to Old Trafford.
Javier Ribalta said he regretted not signing Emre Can during his time with Mourinho, and revealed that he also wanted to bring in Leon Goretska, who has moved from Schalke 04 to Bayern on a free transfer.
Scout Javier Ribalta left Manchester United this summer and is now the sporting director of Russia's Zenit St. Petersburg team.
In an interview with The Turin Sport, Ribalta said: "I have only been at Manchester United for one year, but I want to sign Emre Can and Leon Goretska for free. ”
Later, Emre Jan chose to join Juve, while Leon Goretska signed with Bayern.
Ribalta, who also worked at Juve for five years, claimed he was close to signing Atletico player Jimenez.
Asked if Juve can bring in more big-name players after signing Ronaldo, Ribalta said: "Apart from Pogba, Rabiot and Marcelo, who is the most feasible to sign? Marcelo, the other two seemed impossible to me. ”
