There was a time when Bryant thought he couldn't find a partner he could compare to his glory days with O'Neal. But Gasol seemed to have saved the day for him.

After their careers together ended, they maintained a close relationship for the past few years, which is why Kobe Bryant's death is still difficult to accept by the Gasol brothers. In a recent interview, Paul revealed that he is currently working on a docu series for Amazon, where he shows the moment he discovered Kobe Bryant's unfortunate helicopter crash. Also with him was his daughter "Gigi", who was also tragically killed.

We can't hide that, even though it's hard for me. But Kobe Bryant means a lot to my life, it's a way to convey those feelings in the most natural way possible.

It took me a while to sleep well at night, and it hurt so much and I cried badly.
