The 8th National Moral Model Award Ceremony was held in Beijing

Beijing, 5 Nov (Xinhua) -- The "Deyao Zhonghua -- The Eighth National Moral Model AwardIng Ceremony" was held in Beijing on the evening of 5 November.

The award ceremony is divided into 5 chapters: "Helping others for fun", "seeing righteousness and courage for", "dedication and dedication", "honesty and trustworthiness", and "filial piety and love for the elderly", each chapter includes short films, on-site interviews, awarding medals, tributes, and cultural performances. The award ceremony is solemn, fully embodies the sense of honor and ceremony, vividly displays the touching deeds of moral models, vigorously carries forward the lofty spirit of moral models, and conveys to the whole society the distinct value pursuit of reverence for virtue and goodness, seeing the wise and thinking together.

It is understood that since April 2021, the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Civilization Office, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission have organized the Eighth National Moral Model Selection and Commendation Activity. The event lasted for half a year, and in accordance with the procedures of mass recommendation, selection and reporting, qualification review, publicity and publicity, 10,000 public representatives and voting by the national activity evaluation committee, a total of 68 national moral models and 254 nomination award winners were selected. The moral model deeds evaluated are outstanding, recognized by the masses, have distinct characteristics of the times, and have become the banner leading the society to upward and good.

National moral models are selected and commended every two years. To date, a total of 476 national moral models and 1994 nominees have been nominated for the award. These exemplary figures are practitioners of morality, spiritual leaders, and strivers of the times; their advanced deeds and noble qualities vividly interpret the rich connotation of the core socialist values, concentrate on the fruitful results of ideological and moral construction, fully demonstrate the spiritual outlook of striving for a new era and a new journey of striving for progress, and have a distinct exemplary exemplary nature and a driving force.
