Recently, Tsai Ing-wen, Su Zhenchang, Wu Zhaoxie, and other "Taiwan independence" diehards of the DPP authorities have frequently made loud noises, and "Taiwan independence" remarks have been raging around. At the same time, the United States has constantly used various occasions to hype up the Taiwan issue, send seriously erroneous signals to "Taiwan independence" elements, and induce the DPP authorities to seek "independence" and blindly inflate their will, thus posing a serious threat to peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
With regard to the current situation in the Taiwan Strait, a common view of many current affairs observers is that the risks are being raised, and the initiators are the "Taiwan independence" diehards of the DPP authorities and the United States. The two sing and harmonize, and the hookup intensifies, seemingly "warm", but in fact it is doomed to waste effort.
It is an ironclad fact that Taiwan is part of China. In the more than 70 years since the founding of New China, although the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have not yet been completely reunified, the fact that the mainland and Taiwan belong to the same China has never changed, and China's sovereignty and territorial integrity have never been divided. Although cross-strait relations have gone through twists and turns, they have always moved forward in the direction of reunification. To realize the complete reunification of the motherland, there is only the option of time and timing, and there is no other option.
The DPP's desire for "independence" is like "Sima Zhao's heart, which is well known to passers-by." From Chen Shui-bian throwing out the "one country theory on one side" to the DPP authorities' naked trafficking in the "two-state theory," which seriously violates the history, jurisprudence, and reality of cross-strait relations, attempts to change the status quo in the Taiwan Strait, and has come to a dangerous brink on the road of seeking "independence." In an interview with CNN, Tsai Ing-wen once again flaunted so-called "democracy," falsely called the mainland's just action against "Taiwan independence" a "threat," and threatened to develop Taiwan's military strength to confront the mainland.
In fact, the DPP authorities' use of the banner of "democracy" and "human rights" to whitewash their "Taiwan independence" separatist illusions is nothing but a common trick. No matter what kind of "independence" provocation they carry out, they are only paying lip service to "firing water cannons," and they have never dared to really go to the step of touching the "red line" drawn by the mainland. The mainland's "Anti-National Secession Law" stipulates that "the 'Taiwan independence' separatist forces may, in any name or by any means, cause the fact that Taiwan will split from China, or there will be major incidents that will lead to Taiwan's separation from China, or the possibility of peaceful reunification will be completely lost, and the state may adopt non-peaceful means and other necessary measures to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity." The "Taiwan independence" diehards of the DPP authorities must know in their hearts what this means, and they must also know what will happen if they touch the "red line."
Through the recent frequent hype of the Taiwan issue by some US politicians, including falsely claiming that China has "misused" UN General Assembly Resolution 2758, advocating the so-called "commitment to Taiwan," and supporting Taiwan's so-called "active and meaningful participation in the United Nations system," these are just the usual methods used by the United States to play the "Taiwan card" to contain and contain China. In recent years, the United States has tried to use trade, science and technology, and other means to suppress and curb China's development without achieving the results they expected, and now it relies heavily on playing the "Taiwan card" and even deliberately gathers its allies to manipulate the Taiwan issue, which has further exposed the United States' evil intention of "using Taiwan to control China" and to a certain extent also reflects the Anxiety and Weakness of the United States in obstructing China's development. On the Taiwan issue, the United States is playing a wishful thinking of "seeking benefits while doing bad things, and this is unlikely to succeed.
In view of the sinister intentions of the United States to play the "Taiwan card" to contain China's development, China issued a solemn warning to the United States: "The Taiwan issue is the most sensitive issue between China and the United States. Once the handling is wrong, it will cause subversive and overall damage to Sino-US relations. In response to the provocation of the collusion between the United States and Taiwan, the Ministry of National Defense issued a positive statement: "Resolutely safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and thwart all interference by external forces and 'Taiwan independence' separatist acts." The trend of the times, where the righteousness lies; it does not move like a mountain, and moves like thunder. "That's the common will of 1.4 billion Chinese.
At the meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping solemnly declared, "Resolving the Taiwan issue and realizing the complete reunification of the motherland is the unswerving historical task of the Communist Party of China and the common aspiration of all the sons and daughters of China." "No one should underestimate the strong determination, firm will and strong ability of the Chinese people to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity!" At the meeting to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution, General Secretary Xi Jinping issued a stern warning to the "Taiwan independence" separatists: "Those who have forgotten their ancestors, betrayed the motherland, and split the country have never had a good end, and will surely be spurned by the people and judged by history!" ”
Looking back at the past five thousand years, the Chinese nation has a glorious tradition of opposing separatism and safeguarding reunification. The Taiwan issue arose out of national weakness and chaos and will certainly be resolved along with national rejuvenation. This is determined by the general trend of the historical evolution of the Chinese nation, and it is also the common will of all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation, and the general trend of the complete reunification of the motherland is unstoppable.
Sun Yat-sen, the great forerunner of the revolution, once said: "The tide of the world is mighty and mighty, and if it goes along with it, it will prosper, and if it goes against it, it will perish." This sentence is the best warning for the DPP authorities that vainly seek to "rely on the United States and seek independence" and act as the "pawns" of western anti-China forces to curb China's development, because the road of "Taiwan independence" is the road of going against the trend of the times and the general righteousness of the nation, and it can only be a dead end.
