Taiwan has been China's inherent territory since ancient times, and its roots with Chinese mainland are deep and long-standing. Although Zhucheng and Taiwan are separated by thousands of rivers and mountains, the exchanges between the two places have a long history. As early as the Qing Dynasty, there were Zhucheng officials who eunuched Taiwan. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, especially when the Nationalist government withdrew from Taiwan, a large number of Zhucheng people moved to Taiwan, and economic and cultural exchanges between the two places became increasingly active. Zhucheng people in Taiwan have made outstanding achievements in politics, economy, literature and other aspects. The people of Zhucheng in Taiwan are even more difficult to give up their hometown.

Before the Qing Dynasty, the traces of zhucheng people in Taiwan are difficult to find today. With the qing government recovering Taiwan and establishing officials, the people of Zhucheng had the opportunity to serve in Taiwan. In the 29th year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1690), Wang Shanzong, a wujin soldier from Zhucheng, served as the garrison of the Left Camp of the Taiwan Association, becoming the first Zhucheng person recorded in history to leave Taiwan. Wang Shanzong (王善宗), courtesy name Maoxian, was a Wu jinshi in the eighteenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1679) who served in Taiwan for five years and the thirty-fourth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1695) as the garrison of Baishiguan in Xing'an Province, Shaanxi. Although Wang Shanzong was a military general, he wrote poems and Kangxi's "Chronicle of Taiwan Province" retained his poem "Eight Views of Taiwan". His "Anping Late Crossing" cloud: "The vicissitudes of the sea and the peaceful water are not waves, and the flat boats are full of fishing songs." There are fewer pedestrians at sunset in the west mountain, and the sail shadow is still late. In the 10th year of Yongzheng (1732), Li Zhen, a gongsheng from Zhucheng, was appointed as the tongzhi of the coastal defense of Taiwan, and died soon after. Also in the tenth year of Yongzheng (1732), Yang Ruixiang, a native of Zhucheng, was appointed as Tongzhi of Tamsui in Taiwan, Yang Ruixiang was originally appointed as Tongzhi of Gubei, and in the ninth year of Yongzheng (1731), he was appointed tongzhi of Fuzhou Prefecture and transferred to Tamsui Tongzhi. In the eleventh year of Yongzheng (1733), Yang Ruixiang was shipwrecked by a storm because of the transportation of military food, and Yang Ruixiang and his guests, family, clerks and helmsmen were killed. Qianlongjian Liu Shi (1746-1786), zi Mengya, no. 3, Qianlong forty-three years (1778) jinshi, granted Fujian Shaowuzhi County, Qianlong fifty-one years (1786) transferred to Zhanghua County, Taiwan Province, died in September of the same year. In the eighteenth year of Daoguang (1838), Li Qingxuan, a superintendent from Zhucheng, was transferred from the Nine Pins Bureau to the Head of the Karmalan Hall of taiwan. According to the "Diary of Hu Chuan", Zhang Menglin, a native of Heilonggou in The Cities of Guangxujian, was a servant of Hu Chuan, the chief inspector of the All Taiwan Camp Affairs Office, and died of illness in Taiwan.

Zhucheng people came to Taiwan in large numbers, but in 1949, when the Nationalist government withdrew from Taiwan, the Zhucheng people who went to Taiwan at that time mainly included the government, the army, education, scholars, students, landlords, rich merchants and other personnel.

The political leaders of Zhucheng who retreated to Taiwan with the Nationalist government were Wang Lizai, Pei Mingyu, and Liu Juquan. Wang Lizai (1895-1985), formerly known as Peifu (培裎), zi Lizha, a native of Wangjialouzi (now wulian), graduated from the Shandong Provincial Commercial School, and successively served as the director of the Qingdao Commodity Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Industry, the deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Provincial (Provisional) Senate, a member of the Shandong Provincial Government, and a member of the National Senate. In 1949, he went to Hong Kong, and in 1951, he went to Taiwan, where he was appointed as a member of the Design Committee of the Executive Yuan, and was appointed as a member of the Examination Committee of the Examination Institute. Pei Mingyu (1890~1983), whose original name was Zeng Qi, changed his name to Meng Ru, was a native of Zhucheng City, who participated in the Xinhai Revolution in his early years and engaged in anti-Yuan struggles. After participating in the Northern Expedition, he was appointed as one of the commissioners of the Qingdao Commissioner's Office. Later, he went to join Fang Zhenwu and served as the county magistrate of Lingbi County. In September 1929, he was detained by Chiang Kai-shek in Nanjing. Later, he defected to Hu Hanmin and served as a member of the Central Committee of the Hu Hanmin Government in Guangzhou, and set up a radio station in the British Concession of Tianjin and published the "People's Voice Newspaper" to create anti-Chiang Kai-shek public opinion. Later, he served as the secretary of the party department of Chahar Province, the chairman of the Shandong Provincial Senate, was elected as a deputy to the National Congress, and went to Taiwan on the eve of liberation. Liu Juquan (1901-1971), real name Yu Tsuen, a native of Yaocun, graduated from Peking University of China. Later, he went to Waseda University in Japan. After graduation, he successively served as a senator of the Shandong Provincial Senate, a member of the Supervision Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Department of the Chinese Kuomintang, a chairman of the Shandong Provincial Women's Movement Committee, and a member of the Women's Movement Committee of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the National Government. In February 1948, he was elected as a member of the Supervision Commission of the Control Yuan, and after going to Taiwan, he succeeded him as a member of the Supervision Commission.

At that time, the military figures from Zhucheng who went to Taiwan first recommended Wang Shuming (1905-1998), whose real name was 镳, also known as Xun. Graduated from the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. In 1925, he went to the Soviet Union to learn flight technology, and in 1926 he joined the Communist Party of China in the Soviet Union, and then left the party. He successively served as the director of the Luoyang Branch of the Central Aviation School and the captain of the second bomber team of the Air Force, the air force military attaché of the Embassy of the National Government in the Soviet Union, the chief of education of the Central Air Force School, the acting director of the Aviation Committee, and the deputy commander-in-chief of the Air Force. On December 25, 1948, Xinhua News Agency published a list of forty-three war criminals, among which Wang Shuming was listed. In 1949, he went to Taiwan and served as "Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force" and "Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense", and was awarded the title of General of the Air Force.

Cao Keming (1903-1971), who was originally from Cao Jia Guo Zhuang (formerly Gaomi), was also a representative of military figures who moved to Taiwan. He joined the Communist Party of China in his early years, and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the acting secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provisional Provincial Party Committee of Shandong. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as the commander of the Sixth Guerrilla Brigade of the Eighth District of Shandong, the county magistrate of Laiyang County and Changyi County, the commander of the 13th Security Brigade, the military commissioner of the Investigation and Statistics Bureau of the Military Commission of the National Government, the commander of the 10th Security Brigade, and the commander of the 36th Column of the Shandong Advancing Army. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as deputy brigade commander of the Second Brigade of the Shandong Garrison, senior staff officer of the 11th Huanjing District Office of the Central Military Commission, and deputy commander of the "People's Anti-Bandit Volunteer Army Headquarters" in the Denglaiqing area of the Ministry of National Defense. He went to Taiwan in the summer of 1949, retired shortly after, and died of illness in 1971.

Zhucheng people are particularly eye-catching in Taiwan's literary and art circles, whether it is Jiang Gui, Zhang Tengjiao, Liu Boluan, Ding Wenzhi, Yue Zong in the early years, or Ping Lu, Wang Jiaozhu (Lin Feng), who were born after 1949, all enjoy a very high reputation.

Jiang Gui (1908-1980), real name Wang Lindu, also known as Wang Yijian, pen name Xin Jizi, modern writer, came to Taiwan in 1948, served as a member of the editorial board of the Taiwan Film Company, and a part-time researcher at the Taiwan Institute of International Relations. His major works include the novella "Breakout", "Yun han Youyou", etc., the novel "Chongyang", "Huhai Yang Dust Record" and so on.

Liu Boluan (1916-2005), also known as Tianna, also known as Lixia Pavilion Chief, was a descendant of the Qing Dynasty calligrapher Liu Yong. He is a famous painter who was active in central Taiwan in the 1960s and 1970s.

Zhang Tengjiao, pen name Lu Jiao, born in 1930 in Dashuangmiao Village (formerly gaomi), went to Taiwan in 1949, served in the army, and later served as the secretary and director of the Information Bureau of the Executive Yuan.

Yue Zong, whose real name is Pei Yuan, was born in Tianjin in 1937, doctor of philosophy, famous poet, published "Inch Grass Collection", "Earth Collection", "Morning Star Collection", "Huanyu Collection" and other poetry collections. Ding Wenzhi graduated from Shandong Provincial Normal School in his early years. After going to Taiwan, he has been engaged in aviation ground handling work for a long time. After 1953, he began to create literature. His major works include the novel "The Throat of Xiaonanhe", the novella "Yin Erye and Liu Jiazhai", the short story collection "Transformation", "Zhuang Jingji", "Striving for the Upstream", "The Glory of Human Nature", "Choice", "Remember the Age at that Time" and so on. He won the Novella Award at the 3rd Golden Lion Awards in 1974 and the Short Story Award at the 11th Academy Awards.

Ping Lu, real name Lu Ping, graduated from the Department of Psychology of National Taiwan University, master's degree from the University of Iowa, and is a well-known novelist and columnist in Taiwan.

Many of the Zhucheng people in Taiwan are famous experts and scholars, such as Pei Puyan, Pei Puxian, Xia Zhujiu, Xia Linqing, Liu Xueluan, Li Zaifang, Lu Junyue, Liu Yi, and so on.

There are also outstanding representatives of the second generation of Zhucheng nationals in Taiwan, such as Lu Xiuyan in politics, Lu Xiufang in the press, and Liu Dekai in the performing arts.

Lu Xiuyan, a member of the Kuomintang, graduated from the Department of Geopolitics of National Chengchi University in Taiwan and holds a master's degree from the Institute of International Affairs and Strategic Studies of Tamkang University. He is a member of the Taiwan Legislature, deputy secretary of the Kuomintang Legislative Yuan Caucus, a member of the Standing Committee of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 15th and 16th Central Committees of the Kuomintang, a member of the 16th Central Committee, a reporter of the Information Department of the China Television Corporation and a commissioner of the Central Committee. During Taiwan's presidential election in 2000, he served as a spokesman for the lien chan and Hsiao Wanchang campaign headquarters. Lu Xiuyan's sister, Lu Xiufang, is the chief female anchor of Taiwan's Eastern Sen Television, and won the "Best News Interview Award" of Taiwan's "Golden Bell Award" in 1994, and was known as the "Queen of News" by the industry. On July 8, 2005, he was invited to serve as the guest host of the "Yansong Looks at Taiwan" column reporting team of Yangzhu "Oriental Time and Space", and co-hosted the column with Bai Yansong. Liu Dekai, whose ancestral home is Zhucheng, is a famous actor and director in Taiwan, and his film and television works such as "Lu Xiaofeng" and "Chu Liuxiang" are much loved by mainland audiences.
