One of the things I like about "You Look Delicious" is that it doesn't divide herbivorous and meat into good and evil, it just divides the strong and the weak, just a food chain relationship. For example, in the meat-eating Tyrannosaurus Rex group, tapirs are actually very decent, respected and heroic in their race, not only repelling the enemy, but also guarding a land. In such a child-oriented animation, it is valuable to pay so much attention to the restoration of the laws of nature.
I still like Kwon-zuo, and at first he did have bad thoughts, because he thought that Tyrannosaurus rex should be born to eat meat, and they had never been with Wright, so naturally they didn't have the kind of emotions that Hart had. Later, he tried to eat it delicious, but was beaten by Hart and broke his teeth.
I think when he stopped Hart from going to find his mother later, the whole dragon was yellow and thin, probably because the teeth were rotten and he couldn't chew the meat. Deliberately biting after falling down is delicious to scare a little bit is delicious, after all, can he chew it now? Telling the truth that it is delicious is also his bad taste, but also his unwillingness.
I think Quan Zuo should not have died in the end, although he sighed at the end, but it was just an ordinary scratch, and it did not hurt the point at all. If the Tyrannosaurus rex wanted to kill its own kind, it would have gnawed its neck, and if it didn't die, it would cause a fatal infection, but Hart didn't do it, just knocked him down. And as one of the few Tyrannosaurus rex characters, I think Kwon-joo will succeed to the chief position in the future, after all, he and Hart's father have obvious scars. He ended up laughing, indicating that he was actually less disgusted with Hart's behavior, not to say that he fully agreed, but at least understood Hart's behavior.
In the finale of the film, Hart should take um back to the beach, Hart's father should continue to go back to protect the group, and Hart's mother should move north with the group with light, which should be said to be a happy ending. And according to the description, they certainly wouldn't encounter such a thing as the mass extinction of earth's organisms, and it wasn't that time yet.
Also cv dubbing light and um should be male characters, but... It's not easy to tell the difference between male and female when the model is so smooth, but it should be male according to the voiceover, and I think light's belief in protecting the group and the way of communicating with heart are obviously male, and it's hard to say, depending on how he or she looks when he or she grows up.
The theatrical version of "You Look Delicious" is adapted from three different stories from Tatsuya Nishinomiya's three picture books, although it is for children, but the original story ending is not perfect. The Tyrannosaurus rex adopted by the herbivorous dinosaurs never returned to see his adoptive parents, the plesiosaur friend was finally bitten to death by the lord of the sea, and the adopted baby ankylosaur finally returned to his real parents. But these stories are beautiful, regrettable, but warm.
Personally, I understand that some of the prefaces do not match the afterwords, in short, Kwon Zuo seems to me to be a dragon with a very bad taste, a poisonous mouth, but no particularly big bad heart.
