What about Zheng Jiemin, one of the three giants of the military command agents? What about their children? One son is a diplomat

author:History is long

Zheng Jiemin was one of the three giants within the military command agents, and the other two were Tang Zhong and Mao Renfeng, all of whom were powerful lords. In March 1946, after Dai's death in a plane crash, Chiang Kai-shek appointed Zheng Jiemin as the director of the Military Command Bureau and Mao Renfeng as the deputy director. However, Zheng Jiemin is in multiple positions and cannot be separated, and the specific work of the Military Command Bureau has always been responsible for Mao Renfeng, and only very important documents have been approved and decided by Zheng Jiemin.

Perhaps because of the bad things, Dai Kasa died of a mountain crash, and as a result, his body was searched for three days before it was found. At this time, Dai Kasa, who had been violently dead for three days, was also washed away by heavy rain. It can be said that after death, he was also punished by heaven, and the so-called self-inflicted sins could not be lived.

Zheng Jiemin can be described as an old fritter, with "old cheng holding heavy" and "willing to study" and existing, he gives people the impression of being a bit humorous and elusive. If Zheng Jiemin had not been extremely deep in the city government, opportunistic, and specialized in currying favor with old Jiang, his road to becoming an official would not have been so smooth and smooth, and the water would have risen.

Zheng Jiemin's path to study

Zheng Jiemin was born in 1897 in a poor family in Guangdong, formerly known as Zheng Tingbing. He barely finished primary school and went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to earn a living, starting as an apprentice in a rubber plantation and later working in a fish farm similar to accounting. In 1924, the Whampoa Military Academy was founded and recruited the first batch of cadets. After Zheng Jiemin knew about it, he was very excited, and his fellow villager Huang Zhenwu decided to join the army and serve the country. The ideal is very full, the reality is very bone. When he returned to China to participate in the enrollment of the Whampoa Military Academy, Zheng Jiemin fell behind, while his fellow villagers were on the list.

Although zheng Jiemin, who was very devastated, was disappointed after falling off the list, he regrouped and worked hard to learn knowledge, and then was admitted to the second phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. Since then, Zheng Jiemin began to enter the career path, and a turning point in his life appeared.

Zheng Jiemin, because he fell off the list for the first time, felt that reading was the most important, and often accompanied by books in the future, and worked hard to improve himself. After zheng jiemin graduated from the Whampoa Military Academy, he was admitted to Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow.

Zheng Jiemin tried everything to surrender to Chiang Kai-shek

In 1927, Zheng Jiemin returned to China, and in the following year used various connections to defect to Chiang Kai-shek's disciples and became Chiang Kai-shek's aide-de-camp. At this time, although he was named Chiang Kai-shek's aide-de-camp, Zheng Jiemin was engaged in secret service work.

At that time, in the Jiang Gui Warlord War, Zheng Jiemin successfully passed the bitter meat plan, pretended to be a lonely and helpless person, and went to the former classmate Li Zongyi, that is, Li Zongren's younger brother, who was known as the leader of the Gui clan "Second General".

Later, Zheng Jiemin successfully infiltrated the Gui clan, not only successfully obtained a lot of intelligence, but also divided the relationship between the top brass of the Gui clan, so that Chiang Kai-shek bribed many important personnel of the Gui clan, and finally Chiang Kai-shek effortlessly captured Wuhan. Since then, Chiang Kai-shek has trusted and relied more on Zheng Jiemin.

Later, Chiang Kai-shek constantly put pressure on Zheng Jiemin, and some important tasks were left to Zheng Jiemin to do. But soon, Zheng Jiemin was dissatisfied with Chiang Kai-shek because of his work, and he was cold for a while. However, Zheng Jiemin pretended not to have a word of complaint, immersed himself in reading, and said that he was sorry for Chiang Kai-shek's cultivation and betrayed Chiang Kai-shek's trust, and he was very remorseful.

These words were naturally transmitted to Chiang Kai-shek's ears, and Chiang Kai-shek felt ashamed of Zheng Jiemin, and felt that Zheng Jiemin was an open-minded person with great things in his heart, so he slowly reused Zheng Jiemin. Don't you know that Zheng Jiemin relied on such a disguised skill to do his best to please and properly pat Chiang Kai-shek's ass.

In 1932, Chiang Kai-shek established the Secret Service, with Dai Kasa of the Huangpu Phase VI as the director and Zheng Jiemin as the deputy director. The Secret Service is a very popular part of Chiang Kai-shek's attention, specializing in some intelligence and murder activities. Chiang Kai-shek made Dai Kasa and Zheng Jiemin the heavy responsibility of the secret service, which shows the trust in them.

However, as a student of the second phase of Huangpu, Zheng Jiemin was subordinate to the huangpu sixth term students, and he was unwilling and felt that Dai Kasa was not easy to get along with, so for a long time, Zheng Jiemin only hung an empty seat as a deputy director and rarely went to work in the secret service. One thing Zheng often boasted about was that in May 1933 he assigned agents to kill Zhang Jingyao, a backbone of the Beiyang Anhui warlords.

In 1934, Zheng Jiemin was sent by Chiang Kai-shek to Europe to learn the fascist stuff of Hitler and others. After returning from the inspection, Zheng Jiemin gave Dai Kasa some suggestions for better carrying out the work of the secret service, which was of great help. Subsequently, Chiang Kai-shek promoted Zheng Jiemin to the post of major general of the Fifth Division of the Second Department of the General Staff Headquarters.

Stills of Chiang Kai-shek

It is worth mentioning that Zheng Jiemin's wife Ke Shufang is very greedy, often accepting bribes for Zheng Jiemin, and also asking people from the military command to help buy things without giving money. At the same time, his family's food and clothing were reimbursed by the military commander, and even she used pearl powder to rub the oil of the public family.

During the peace talks between the Kuomintang and the Republic of China, Zheng Jiemin took advantage of the opportunity of "peace talks" to carry out secret service activities in the Liberated Areas. Because Zheng Jiemin has always been actively anti-communist and knows our party well, he also wants to win the favor of old Chiang Kai-shek and continue to be promoted, so he happily accepted this task.

When he really negotiated with our party, Zheng Jiemin felt powerless. After Dai Kasa's death, Zheng Jiemin was named by chiang kai-shek as the director of the Military Command Bureau, and later changed to the director of the Secrecy Bureau, but the deputy director Mao Renfeng presided over the work, because he still had important things to do.

Zheng Jiemin and Mao Renfeng dispute

In 1947, Zheng Jiemin was promoted again, and he was so happy that his wife said everyone. Jeong was promoted to deputy minister of national defense, in charge of defense materials. Chiang Kai-shek's aim was to get Zheng Jiemin to do his best to win the military support of the US imperialists.

In this way, Zheng Jiemin held several positions, and in addition to the main post of vice minister of national defense, which he did not think was easy to do, there were also the posts of director of the Second Department and director of the Secrecy Bureau, which showed that the old Chiang Kai-shek relied heavily on Zheng Jiemin.

Stills of Mao Renfeng

However, although Mao Renfeng was the head of the Secrecy Bureau, he was the deputy director in the official position, so he was very dissatisfied with Zheng Jiemin's occupation of the post of bureau chief. Therefore, the people within the Secrecy Bureau were divided into two factions, one faction supporting Mao Renfeng and the other supporting Zheng Jiemin, and there was often friction between the two.

Later, it developed to Mao Renfeng and Zheng Jiemin to expose each other in front of Chiang Kai-shek and attack each other. In the end, Mao Renfeng found a breakthrough from Zheng Jiemin's wife, and told Zheng Jiemin's wife to eat pearl powder and also need to be reimbursed by the Secrecy Bureau, and old Jiang was greatly annoyed, and finally had to let Zheng Jiemin resign from the post of director of the Secrecy Bureau, and Mao Renfeng served as the director of the Secrecy Bureau.

However, Chiang Kai-shek still trusted Zheng Jiemin as always, allowing him to concentrate on improving relations with US imperialism and trying to win as much foreign aid as possible.

Evaluation of Zheng Jiemin

To Zheng Jiemin, Tang Zhong recognized him very much, saying:

Although Zheng Jiemin was the head of the Military Command, he was very different from Dai Kasa, who had a precise strategic vision and a long-term vision, and a research spirit, and wrote a lot of books, for which he won a medal for jixue.

But later, Shen Drunk, who was once the director of the Military Command Bureau, was pardoned, but zheng Jiemin's ability was not high.

"Zheng Jiemin's intelligence and organizational skills were inferior to Dai Kasa's, which led to no major contributions from the Military Command Bureau after 1946."

Children of Jeong Jie-min

Zheng Jiemin's first wife was given by his parents, an old-fashioned marriage, the two had no feelings, and with him enlisted in the army, they did not contact each other for decades.

Zheng Jiemin's second wife was Ke Shufang, a native of Hubei, whose mother was in business and whose father was an official, who once became the governor of the Liangguang Railway. After Zheng Jiemin and Ke Shufang got married, their lives were harmonious and their feelings were good. Together, they have eight children, three sons and five daughters.

In the name of being afraid of his wife, Zheng Jiemin let him accept bribes on his behalf, and there were so many things in the family that he did not know. Later, the thief patronized their home and stole a lot of things, what was lost, Zheng Jiemin and his wife could not say clearly, and finally the thief was not caught, and the case was not resolved.

In 1949, after going to Taiwan, Zheng Jiemin took everything he could take with him. In 1954, Cheng Jiemin was appointed "Director general of the National Security Bureau of the Republic of China" in Taiwan. In December 1959, Zheng Jiemin died of illness at the age of 62.

The last word of Zheng Jiemin's daughters is the word "heart", such as Zheng Suxin, Zheng Bingxin, Zheng Huixin, etc. His sons, on the other hand, have the middle word "heart", and the names of the three sons are Zheng Xinxiong, Zheng Xinben and Zheng Xinping.

In 1949, Zheng Jiemin's family went to Taiwan. Zheng Jiemin's children have received a good education, and some have gone abroad to study. Cheng Jiemin's eldest son, Cheng Shin-hsiung, was deputy secretary-general of the Taiwan government and died early in 1991. Zheng Jiemin's second son, Zheng Xinben, who worked as a diplomat in the United States, returned to Hainan in 2003 for a visit, conducted a donation ceremony for the "Heart-based Love" scholarship at Hainan University, and gave an academic report.

As for Zheng Jiemin's other children, Man Tanjun did not find a record, it should be that everyone is in the dark, they are ordinary people, living their own ordinary people's lives, neither doing evil nor making much contribution.
