The meeting decided to accept Gao Shihong's request to resign as mayor of wuhai municipal people's government; decided to appoint Tang Yi as vice mayor of Wuhai municipal people's government; and decided that Tang Yi acted as mayor of Wuhai municipal people's government.
According to the data of the local party and government leaders database of China Economic Network, Tang Yi, born in February 1975, was formerly a member of the Standing Committee of the Rongchang District Committee of Chongqing, an executive deputy district chief, and recently served as the deputy secretary of the Wuhai Municipal Party Committee. Gao Shihong, born in December 1969, served as deputy secretary general of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, deputy secretary of the Ordos Municipal Party Committee, and became the mayor of Wuhai City in February 2017.
