The "Biography of Zeng Guofan" written by Mr. Zhang Hongjie mentions the relationship between Comrade Lao Zeng and the three leaders, which makes people think deeply.

1. Mu Zhang'a. Guo Jia Mu Zhang'a (1782-1856), zi pu, trumpet crane, nickname Yun pulp mountain people, Manchurian blue flag people, Qing Dynasty minister. Mu Zhang'a was born as a jinshi and successively served as a Shu Jishi, a squire of the Punishment Department, a Zuo Du Yushi, a Shangshu of the Li Fan Yuan, the Governor of Caoyun, the Minister of Military Aircraft, a bachelor of the Hanlin Academy, and a scholar of the Wenhuadian University. He served as a military minister for more than twenty years, was good at speculating on his intentions, was deeply favored by the Daoguang Emperor, and his power was tilted inside and outside. During the Opium War, Mu Zhang'a advocated peace, framed Lin Zexu and other main war factions, and presided over the signing of a series of unequal treaties. After the Xianfeng Emperor succeeded to the throne, he revived Lin Zexu and others, and removed Mu Zhang'a from his post and never used him. In the sixth year of Xianfeng (1856), Mu Zhang'a fell ill and died. Qing Shi commented on Mu Zhang'a: "After reigning for twenty years, he also loved talent, nor was he greedy, and his pseudo-nature was clever, and he served as a fool of expectations." It is precisely because of Mu Aicai, since he appreciated the old comrade from the countryside of Hunan, he also took the initiative to ask him for the poems he had made for the exam, and invited the old comrade zeng to the palace to beat the tooth sacrifice every New Year's Festival, and strengthened his connections, which helped him a lot, and since then he has helped Zeng Qingyun all the way. It can be said that Mu is the first Bole in comrade Zeng's career, helping this thousand-mile horse's hooves to walk steadily, and has been a five-part waiter, rising to ten levels in nine years, and simply sitting on a helicopter. People who are familiar with Comrade Lao Zeng know that he came from a rural family, did not have good resources and money foundations, and did not have any rare items to give to Mu, and it was really a great luck to be able to get Mu's help. Later, when the old governor Liangjiang held great power, Mu had long been dismissed by Xianfeng, and he did not report any favor, but could only take some silver to give to his family and help Mu's descendants arrange an errand.

Second, su shun. Ai Xin Jue Luo SuShun (November 26, 1816 – September 1861), Manchurian Blue Banner man, late Qing Dynasty emperor, power courtier, Zi Yu Ting, the seventh grandson of Zheng Xian's Prince Zilharang, and the sixth son of Zheng Shen's Prince Ur Gong'a. Since the middle of the Daoguang period, he has successively served as the imperial chancellor, the minister in charge of the interior ministry, the tobe shoshu, and the assistant university scholar. Deeply trusted by the Xianfeng Emperor, he relied heavily on his brothers Duanhua the Prince of Zheng and Zaiyuan the Prince of Yi, and xuanhe for a while. In July of the eleventh year of Xianfeng (1861), before the death of the Xianfeng Emperor, he was appointed as the minister of government of Zanxiang. Although Comrade Lao Zeng founded the Xiang Army, although he had repeated battles and victories, he always had to ask for people and had no actual power, but fortunately Su Shun had a unique vision, believing that such a chaotic situation could not be cleaned up by the Han people, and he tried his best to speak kindly for Lao Zeng and vigorously advocated the governor of Lao Zeng, Liangjiang. After SuShun was killed, Cixi raided the private letters in Sushun's home and found that most of the overseers in the world had had private contacts with this hot minister at that time, but only Comrade Lao Zeng was not found, so that Cixi lamented that Comrade Lao Zeng was really loyal and trusted more and more.

3. Yi Zhen. Aisin Kyora Yizhen (16 October 1840 – 1 January 1891) was a Chinese poet who was the master of the Nine Thoughts Hall and the master of the retreat. The seventh son of the Daoguang Emperor, the half-brother of the Xianfeng Emperor and the biological father of the Guangxu Emperor. Her mother was Princess Wuya of the Zhuangshun Emperor, and her eldest son was Empress Dowager Cixi's younger sister. Politician of the late Qing Dynasty, de facto controller of the Military Aircraft Department in the early years of Guangxu. In the 30th year of Daoguang (1850), he was crowned as the King of Alcohol County. After the death of the Xianfeng Emperor, Yi Zhen and Prince Gong cooperated with Empress Dowager Cixi in launching the Xin You coup, so Empress Dowager Cixi began to reuse Yi Zhen. In the third year of Tongzhi (1864), Yizhen added the title of prince. In the eleventh year of Tongzhi (1872), he was enfeoffed as the Prince of Jin. When Guangxu ascended the throne, he was hereditary replaced by the crown prince. In the tenth year of Guangxu (1884), the military aircraft department led by Prince Gong Yixuan was dismissed by Cixi's entire class, and the history was called Jiashen Yishu, and Yizhen began to take over the government in the name of a commercial office. In the eleventh year of Guangxu (1885), the prime minister of the navy Yamen embezzled naval funds to build the Summer Palace. In november of the sixteenth year of Guangxu (1890) (January 1, 1891 in the Gregorian calendar), Prince Yizhen of Alcohol was born in the mansion of the domain, at the age of 51, and his courtesy name was Prince Alcohol Xian. Zaifeng's fifth son, Zaifeng, was the Prince of Fengfeng, and Zaifeng's eldest son, Puyi, was the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty.

As Cixi's brother-in-law, Yi Zhen wanted to make friends many times in zeng guofan's later years, wanting to enhance his political strength and compete with his brother Prince Gong Yixuan, and normal people were worried that they could not find the temple gate with pig heads. However, Comrade Zeng did not enter the oil and salt and did not reply to the letter. Later, Yi Zhen was not reconciled, and took the initiative to write several poems for Comrade Lao Zeng to comment on, hoping that he should be reconciled, and Lao Zeng still did not care. Finally, the old man asked the person with the letter to reply, I hardly correspond with others here, I can't change my habits and practices because you have always changed my habits, plus I have principles, and I have always not interacted with my relatives and nobles privately, please forgive me. Old Zeng is such a cow!

How to handle the relationship with the leader? Comrade Lao Zeng made an example: not taking the initiative, not being greeted, not involving money, not greedy for things, not having personal relations, not being intimate, and not taking advantage of tricks. We must do: First, we must do a good job in our own work; second, report more to the leaders and strive for work support; third, we must have a bottom line in personal contacts, resolutely avoid money exchanges, and do not add trouble to the leaders and do not cause trouble for ourselves.
