The Northern Shaanxi Folk Song Museum is a functional music museum integrating collection, display, performance, research and dissemination of northern Shaanxi folk songs, with an exhibition area of about 5680 square meters. It covers 6 exhibition areas, including the traditional northern Shaanxi folk song exhibition area, the revolutionary history of northern Shaanxi folk song exhibition area, the new era northern Shaanxi folk song exhibition area, the northern Shaanxi folk music art exhibition area and research topics.

Walking into the Folk Song Museum, you can first enjoy an immersive folk song performance in the Dome Theater, and while watching the exhibition content, you will occasionally encounter folk artists recruited by the museum from the local area to perform classic folk songs. After the establishment of the museum, Zhou Lin became a signed singer with his good voice. Every Saturday, the museum also holds public welfare teaching classes for citizens who love folk songs, and Zhou Lin also serves as a training teacher for more than 200 students.

The unique natural environment and geographical features of the Loess Plateau give the folk songs of northern Shaanxi a strong local character of high-pitched and rugged, and in 2008 it was included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. "After the museum was built, it was very popular with audiences in northern Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and other places, and many audiences came many times, and some performers were selected from the audience.
