After marriage, he followed Comrade Qian Zhuangfei on the revolutionary road. At the age of sixteen, Qian Jiang was admitted to the Western Painting Department of Shanghai Xinhua Art College. It was also this year that Comrade Qian Zhuangfei sacrificed. After the outbreak of the Anhui Incident, because they were worried about their revolutionary descendants, Zhou Enlai and his wife spent a lot of effort to finally find Qian Jiang and his brother Qian Yiping, and gave them a better educational environment. Qian Jiang and Qian Yiping entered the Lu Xun Academy of Arts and the Academy of Natural Sciences respectively. This laid the foundation for their future entry into the revolutionary road.
