Archimedes wars is a drama film directed by Takashi Yamazaki and starring Shoko Sugata, released on July 26, 2019.
Based on the manga of the same name by Norie Mita, the film tells the story of during World War II, the talented mathematician Sugi Nao, known as the "Archimedes of Japan", discovered a hidden conspiracy in the Japanese Navy's shipbuilding program and resolved to correct the unhealthy trend in the state apparatus.
