The full title of "Ji Jing's Epitaph" is "Epitaph of Ji Jun, the founding son of Cai County" in the history of the military pingzhou assassination of the generals of the Wei Dynasty.
Ji Jing (姬静), ziyuan , from the 20th year of the Northern Wei Dynasty to the 20th year of the Northern Wei Dynasty (496 – 532 AD), a native of Guangning (present-day Zhuolu County, Hebei Province) was a native of Guangning (present-day Zhuolu County, Hebei Province).
According to Zhiwen's corroborative historical records and the supplementary "History of the North", Ji Jing was a general under the power minister Erzhu Rong at the end of the Northern Wei Dynasty, who followed Erzhu Rong until his death at the age of thirty-six, and participated in many large-scale battles of Erzhu Rong to suppress the rebels, and was promoted for his military achievements. The characters mentioned in the Zhiwen are not recorded in the history except that the ancestors and fathers of the Ji Jing family were both Taishou and Assassin Shi. However, other relevant characters are invaluable to support the history of Qingshi and are the protagonists of the changes of the times. At that time, the princes were divided, the wars were chaotic, and the replacement was fast, and the imperial family could not protect themselves from the "Heyin Incident" Erzhu Rong once killed nearly 2,000 important ministers and civil and military officials. During the period of Ji Jing's life, the epitaphs unearthed, the tomb owner including the members of the imperial family, the high status and young age are enough to explain the description.
This bluestone, 48 cm long, 48 cm wide and 12 cm thick, was recently excavated in the area of Guyecheng, the junction of Henan Province and Hebei Province, and engraved in the first year of the Yuan Xiang of the Eastern Wei Xiaojing Emperor (six years after the death of the tomb owner in 538 AD)
