February River Mysterious Interpretation of the Dream of the Red Chamber - Lin Zhixiao's family did not tell a lie

author:Little Lingzi 0322

In order to show the grandeur of the Grand Lady of Jia Province, Yuan Chun Guifei Province, Miao Yu lived in the Li Cui Nunnery like an ornament to make the landscape of the Grand View Garden. Prior to this, the Jia Fu nu cai Lin Zhixiao family had a general introduction to her situation:

There is a person with a hair cultivation, who is originally from Suzhou, and his ancestors are also the family of reading eunuchs. Because she gave birth to this girl, she bought a lot of substitute children that were not useful, and this girl personally entered the empty door to be good... Now that his parents are dead, there are only two old grandmothers and a little girl to serve. Wen Mo is also very well understood, the scriptures do not need to be learned, and the appearance is excellent, because I heard the Relics of Guanyin and the Relics of Baye in chang'an Capital, and I came up with Master last year...

Comrade Liu Caonan used Lin Zhixiaojia's words as "inconsistent with the facts in several places" (in fact, two points were cited) to prove that Lin Zhixiaojia's lies were hidden, concealing Miaoyu's "widow history". (1) "The book writes that Miao yu is not as sick since childhood" ;(2) asserts that Miao Yu "is not 'eighteen years old', when he is over twenty years old".

These two arguments are really not flattering, and they are afraid that it is difficult to call them "evidence" to prove their conclusions that are "inconsistent with the facts". "Unlike being sick since childhood", it is probably because I saw that Miaoyu was still in good health and had not been medicated, which does not prove that she was also in great health when she was a child; as for "not 'eighteen years old'", I am afraid that I have to find other "evidence" to prove it, so that the reader can be convinced, right?

Why is Lin Zhixiaojia's words unreliable? Comrade Liu Caonan listed three points: (1) Lin Zhixiao's words were "rumors of gain" ;(2) because she was a slave and lied "to meet the appetite of her master"; (3) because "Miao Yu hid the pain of her life and covered it up for her".

A little attention can be seen in the logical confusion of these three motives. If it is one of the three motives, then it is necessary to responsibly explain to the reader which one and why; if there are three motives at the same time, then the mutual exclusion between them cannot be solved: that is, if there is a meaning of "not knowing much" in the "rumor of obtaining", since he is a person who is not familiar with Miaoyu, Lin Zhixiao's family loves Miaoyu, and is concerned about the extent that "because of Miaoyu's secret life", he sincerely "covers for her"?

Detailed description of Lin Zhixiaojia's words, cut to the point, unmistakable, and not half a sentence of vague and unambiguous words, much like paraphrasing the investigation materials, and not like any "rumors". She even warned her master not to rush to "please", saying: "Please him, he said, 'The Houmen Gongfu will oppress people with your power, and I will not go again'. This is no different from the image characteristics of Miaoyu that we readers personally feel, so it is said that the "rumor of getting it" is a mistake of Comrade Cao Nan.

So, is it to cater to Miaoyu's secret, the housekeeper's wife lied to the master? I think that if this is the case, one of the following two conditions must be met to exist: (1) Miaoyu and Lin Zhixiao's old family; (2) Miaoyu goes to the "back door" of Lin Zhixiao's family and buys her joints to enter Jia Province. Readers may wish to imagine, is it possible for a descendant of an aristocrat who is so arrogant that even Xue Baochao is unwilling to take care of it, and even Lin Daiyu is accused of being a "great layman"?

What about the motive analysis of "slaves speak and serve the appetite of their masters"? To be sure, this possibility is not non-existent. But it should be remembered that this is only a "possibility" after all, it is itself a hypothesis that needs to be proved by facts, how can the hypothesis be used as a basis to prove the truth of another conclusion?

Taking a step back, we can not believe the words of Lin Zhixiao's family, because she is a slave, and if she wants to eat a stable meal, she must "meet the appetite of the master", but Xing Xianyan does not have to serve Jia Baoyu, how did she say it?

He (Miao Yu) and I had been neighbors for ten years, separated only by a wall. He was practicing at the Panxiang Temple, and my family's original Han Su lived in a house, and it was the house in his temple that he was renting. He lived for ten years and went to his temple every day as a companion. All the words I recognize are given by Him. He and I are poor friends, and I have a half-teacher division...

This can not always be said to be a "rumor of gain"? Confirming the words of He Xiuyan of the Lin Zhixiao family, it can be clearly seen that the Lin Zhixiao family did not deliberately deceive the master, and this Miaoyu was indeed not a "widow" before leaving home.

However, Xiuyan, who has been a neighbor with Miaoyu for ten years, may cover up for Miaoyu "because of her secret life", and we should pay attention to this emotional factor. However, it is not a shameful thing for a widow to become a nun, and Xing Xiuyan seems to have no need to bear the responsibility of this wild lie; besides, even so, if you want to tell this lie round, you need to "collude" with the Lin Zhixiao family, and this possibility is almost non-existent. If they all want to deceive the reader and play the same trick, how can it be incredible! According to Liu Wen, Miao Yu was unable to live in the boudoir because she had no political status and was bullied by the nobles. So, how much greater is the safety factor in the Buddhist temple than in the boudoir?

It is true that there are quite a lot of errors in the age of the characters in "Dream of the Red Chamber", which can only reflect that "Dream of the Red Chamber" is a work that the author has not yet finalized. If you want to pick a fault, you can find out the "fake" from Xing Xiuyan's words: (1) Miao yu entered Beijing at the age of seventeen, so when Xiu Yan first knew Miao Yu, Miao Yu was at most seven years old; (2) Xiu Yan was on a par with Bao Yu's age, and Bao Yu was five or six years younger than Miao Yu, so Xiu Yan "every day" to accompany Miao Yu was a swaddling child! ——Using this method to prove that Xiuyan is lying, it can be said that there is no one who tells the truth in "Dream of the Red Chamber".

It should also be noted that: (1) although Miaoyu left home, her living conditions were still quite favorable, until she was forced to enter Beijing, and there were two grandmothers and a servant serving by her; ;(2) Xiuyan Hansu, "it was the house in his (Miaoyu) temple that was on hand." From this point of view, it is very likely that panxiang temple is Miaoyu Folk Family Temple, a seven- or eight-year-old sick lady who "cultivates" in her own family temple, and it is logical to cure the sick and cultivate obscurity. Moreover, since you have left home, why don't you "sweep away all the ten thousand defilements" but "bring your hair" to practice? Is there a "temporary" meaning here?

Judging from what is revealed in her thoughts and emotions, Miao Yu does not look like someone who has been married before. That is, for the seventy-sixth time, Miao Yu said to Xiang Dai and the two, "Just lose the real thing, and go to search for strange things, one of them has taken off the face of our boudoir..." And what is "fangqing" and "elegant", if she is really a little widow with a hard-dressed virgin, wouldn't it be disgusting? Such a thick skin is what a "wonderful jade", but like a lot of girls!

Taken together, the so-called trilogy of Miaoyu marrying, widowing, and serving as a nun can only be a matter of whether the child is vain or dead.

Judging from the introduction of Miaoyu by Lin Zhixiao's family, it is needless to say that the "Noble Power" once oppressed Miaoyu and was therefore very sensitive to this. But when did Youshi begin to oppress her? This can be seen from the situation revealed by Xing Xiuyan:

Because we went to our relatives, we smelled that she was out of place and her power was not tolerated...

It can be seen that Xing Xianyan, who has been a neighbor of Miao Yu for ten years, has not "seen" Miao Yu being bullied by the nobles, but "smelled" the news after "surrendering to relatives". Therefore, it is clear that Miaoyu's oppression and destruction is "recently" after the death of her parents. From this point of view, Comrade Liu Caonan's claim that Miao Yu has been "long-term victimized by the nobility and power" is a bit exaggerated. Otherwise, why didn't he come late or early, but not long after "his parents had died", he came "because he heard that there were Guanyin relics and Baye relics in Chang'an Capital"? Comparing the stimulus contrast between Xing Xiuyan's "inadmissibility of power" and the so-called "noble power" of the Lin Zhixiao family, it can also reflect from another side that the Lin Zhixiao family did not dare to pinch the devil and deceive the master on this issue.
