On July 8, Sichuan online reporter learned from the Luzhou Branch of the Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau that a young girl drifted in the Yangtze River for 8 hours late at night, through 60 kilometers of water, and was finally rescued by the Luzhou police of the Yangtze River Public Security.

The girl drifted in the river for 8 hours late at night, and after 60 kilometers of water, she was rescued by the Police of Luzhou, a public security officer of the Yangtze River

"In the Yangtze River of Luolong Industrial Park in Sanjiang New Area, I heard someone shouting 'help', it was too dark for me to see, but I was sure it was in the river." At 2:14 a.m. on July 7, the telephone on duty at the Nanxi Police Station of the Luzhou Branch of the Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau rang, and the anxious voice of a man was heard on the phone.

After receiving the alarm, the police on duty dispatched a public security boat and contacted the maritime department to carry the life-saving equipment to the scene at sea and land. When the police rushed to the first scene of the alarm, they saw that the river surface was pitch black, there was no cry for help, and there was no figure of the distressed person.

"The search and rescue environment at the first scene of the alarm is extremely harsh, because it is early in the morning and there are no lights around, the river surface and its surroundings are pitch black, and it is also shrouded in thick fog, the visibility is very low, and the visual distance is about 5 meters." This poses a great challenge to search and rescue. Zhou Zheng, director of the Nanxi Police Station of the Luzhou Branch of the Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau, recalled that for safety reasons, public security boats could only slow down in the water to search and rescue, while another group of people shouted loudly along the downstream river to search.

After searching for nearly 1 kilometer on foot, in the first bay of the Yangtze River, intermittent cries for help were faintly heard in the river.

Due to the fast flow rate and low visibility of the location where the rescuer was located at that time, there was a certain risk of immediate rescue. Therefore, the search and rescue personnel shouted to the helper to grab the floating object and not give up, and at the same time contacted the public security patrol boat and the maritime patrol boat to move closer to the direction of the rescuer's drift and carry out water rescue.

Finally, in the waters of Kowloon Beach, the police heard the voice of the woman who called for help again and determined her location. When the search and rescue personnel locked in to the woman for help, she was resting on a wooden stake about 1 meter.

At 4:30 a.m., with the cooperation of the maritime patrol boat, the woman who called for help was successfully rescued and immediately sent to the hospital for rescue.

After rescue, the woman regained consciousness. According to the police, the woman's name is Liu Moumou, a native of Yibin, Sichuan, 18 years old, who has the idea of taking a life because of family trivia. So at about 20:30 on July 6, I was alone under the Jinsha River Bridge in Mamingxi, Xuzhou District, Yibin City. Liu Moumou regretted it after going into the water, and grabbed the wooden stake floating on the side, and it was this "life-saving" wooden stake that made Liu Moumou support the rafting of 8 hours and 60 kilometers of water.
