Trilobite fossils

The dorsal carapace of the trilobite is divided into microconvex axial lobes in the middle and rib lobes on both sides, hence the name. From front to back, it can be divided into three parts: the head, the thorax and the tail armor of the shield. Here you can see 4 boutique display cases of trilobites from Russia, which were restored by German paleontologists and purchased from the Tucson Paleontology Exhibition in 2011. It is a fossil from about 490 million to 440 million years ago, when the trilobite has a variety of forms, some of the body can curl, which is conducive to protecting the soft abdomen; some of the leading edge of the head is shaped like a flat shovel, which is easy to drill into the sediment; some have spikes on the tail to facilitate progress in the sediment; some have long stick-like eyes like crabs, which is easy to find predators.
