Liu Wang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huaihua University, and Wang Gang, President of Huaihua University, attended the opening ceremony.
"Painting students and paintings" means "depicting life and innovating design for a better future", this graduation creation and design exhibition is another "materialization" of the school of art and design of Huaihua University of Art and Design School of "grasping quality, fine art, heavy application, and creating brand", and is also another practical achievement display of the School of Art and Design art that deeply cultivates regional culture, bases on characteristics, and cultivates applied art creation talents. In the magical hot land of Huaihua, the School of Fine Arts and Design of Huaihua University has not only created the "Huaihua Art Phenomenon" that was quite influential in the country in the mid-1980s, but also cultivated and walked out a large number of artists and well-known scholars such as Yi Tujing, Wang Jinshi, Yang Guoping, Liu Yongjian, Li Yunqi, etc., who went from here to the whole country and to the world. In the past 43 years, the School of Fine Arts and Design Art of Huaihua University has become an important training base for artistic creation talents in Hunan Province, with deep roots and fruitful roots.

From the school's Yitujing Art Museum to the exhibition hall on the 1st floor of the Weimei Building, to the courtyard of the Weimei Building hall and the corridors of the Weimei Building, Liu Wang, Wang Gang and their party carefully admired each work created and designed by the graduates, and talked cordially with the graduates to understand the students' creation ideas and creative process. Liu Wang and Wang Gang encouraged the graduates to adhere to their artistic dreams, innovate their thinking, be diligent in practice, and create new achievements and achieve new deeds on a higher and larger platform.
This graduation design and creation exhibition exhibits the graduation works of 313 graduates of the Class of 2021 in 6 majors, including fine arts, environmental design, visual communication design, product design, digital media art, and clothing and fashion design of Huaihua College. The topics of the works are diverse, based on application, and more than 80% of the design topics are derived from production practices. Each work reflects the author's unique artistic vision and a different interpretation of beauty and life, of which 20 outstanding works were selected for the second Hunan University Graduation Season Fine Arts Exhibition.
The graduation design and creation exhibition lasts for one week.
