In the minds of many "little leaves", volunteer service has long been not only the most important elective course in their youth, but also a compulsory course in life that allows themselves to be exercised and grown in all aspects.
From Wei Order to long-term volunteers, step by step to make the service better
Zhu Meiting, a junior from Shanghai Agriculture and Forestry Vocational and Technical College, is a "little leaf" in the fourth grade of the post-00s Expo. In the first session, she was in shanghai airport security inspection and entry order; the second time, she volunteered at the National Convention and Exhibition Center business catering; the third time, she did document guidance work at gate 7 of the National Exhibition Center; and the fourth time, she was selected to become a long-term volunteer through layers.
Zhu Meiting told reporters that when she participated in the first Expo, she was still studying secondary school, and by chance, she participated in the school's interview and did not expect to pass. The more you participate, the more interesting it becomes. In the third session, she was also one of the volunteer leaders of the Expo at Shanghai Agriculture and Forestry Vocational and Technical College. "I remember last year, I was serving at the gate of The Seventh National Exhibition Center, and I saw that some visitors could not enter because they did not have documents, and some forgot to make reservations. I saw that some of them had rushed over in all directions, but they ran in vain. I took them around the 'clover' and made up for their regrets. ”
This year, Zhu Meiting's identity at the Expo is a project commissioner, and she needs to bring 187 volunteers to work. Take care of them like younger siblings.
In fact, as early as the beginning of September this year, Zhu Meiting participated in the special training of volunteers in long-term management positions to receive training in party class education, general knowledge training for volunteers, and quality expansion training. Through the training, she has increased the awareness of the importance of the team, "There is no perfect individual, only a perfect team." ”
In Zhu Meiting's view, this year's work tasks are more than in previous sessions. "Although the workload has increased and the pressure has increased, this has made me full of motivation and work together to make the Expo a good job in order to move forward with everyone towards the same goal."
From "small leaves" to the official entry of "four-leaf clover", and then continue to enter the bo of the edge
"Volunteer work is first of all to be careful, from the perspective of the certificate group, the screening of documents is a test of meticulousness. For example, the difference between more letters and fewer letters in English spelling, and the difference between the half-width of the Chinese and English punctuation marks are related to whether the information is accurately entered into the system, which directly affects whether exhibitors can participate in the conference smoothly. "Wang Ping was an outstanding volunteer at the first CIIE, and now that she has successfully joined the National Exhibition and Convention Center, she has a lot of feelings about the transformation from volunteer to regular employee status.
Talking about her volunteer service experience four years ago, Wang Ping still remembers it vividly. That hard but fulfilling volunteer life became her most memorable memory and had a major impact on her career choices after college. "What I studied is the exhibition economics and management major, and it is also my luck to be able to find my own employment beacon in the accumulation of the new era."
In the summer of 2019, Wang Ping entered the National Exhibition and Convention Center for internship, and passed the pen interview last year, officially joined the administrative department of the National Convention and Exhibition Center, and engaged in the work of the party and mass labor group. Wang Ping said that no matter how her identity changes, she has never forgotten her original intention and will always be a bright and energetic "small leaf". "Come to the world stage and show your style!" Wang Ping especially hopes that the "little leaves" will cherish this glory, take on the responsibility of youth, and work together in different posts to contribute to the Expo.
