Stinging pests --- beware of these "cicadas" that are not called

Entering Futian, garden diseases and insect pests have also reached a peak period, and some of the cicada hazards in the stinging pests have to be careful!

【1】Leafhopper:

1. Identification characteristics: leafhopper body length 3-15 mm, 2 single eyes, a few species without single eye. The posterior tibial segment has a ridge with 3-4 rows of spiny hairs on the ridge, and the terrestrial terrestrial terrestrium of the posterior foot is a prominent identifying feature of the leafhopper family.

2. Hazard characteristics of leafhoppers:

Both adults and nymphs feed on the sap of the plant. After the leaf is damaged, there are white spots that lose their green, and the latter points are connected into pieces until the whole leaf is pale and dead; some cause scorched spots and plaques, so that the leaves fall off prematurely. In addition, leafhoppers can transmit viral diseases in addition to direct harm.

【3】Broad-winged wax cicada:

Adult: Transparent and milky white at the beginning of the feather, after about half a day, the body color changes to an inherent yellowish brown. The wings are densely covered with a web of longitudinal veins, the forewings are broad and slightly triangular, and the hindwings are pale yellowish brown and translucent.

Nymphs: the body shape is slightly blunt diamond-shaped, the body color is dark yellowish brown, the cloth has different shades of markings, the body is sparsely covered with white wax powder, and there is a white fluffy wax filament at the end of the abdomen, which is round and fan-shaped, and sometimes it is also peacock-shaped.

2. Hazard characteristics: adult insects and nymphs suck sap on young branches, shoots and leaf backs. After the plant is damaged, the leaves shrink and the branches wither and break, forming dead shoots. In severe cases, the branches, stems and leaves are covered with white wax, and the excrement can induce coal pollution.
